I'm so shocked that I broke this record. I never thought I would ever have a world record, and then it just happened. I was doing the solve like normal, and then the cube was solved all of a sudden, and then I wrote it down and it was 16 moves. Thanks to Margot and Aedan for being such awesome companions with me during this competition! It was such a blast hosting this competition in my hometown, and getting a world record was so unexpected.

Even though Kalindu has requested to compete under any controlled condition, under any delegate, WDC didn't consider and didn't included his request to their report even. Bit suspicious 🤔. Seems like someone in WDC wanted a long ban for Kalindu. Who knows, people do weird things for weird reasons. No harm giving him chance to prove.

Although I don't have enough information to definitively say whether Kalindu violated the rules for FMC World Record. However, I believe he deserves another opportunity to demonstrate his abilities in a fair competition. I strongly feel that the punishment he received was unjust.

8 years is such a longtime. Now how could he prove his abilities without participating a competition? This can happens to any delegate who is participating as well as delegating a comp at the same time.
Mr. Kalindu was the only delegate we had. We know how he worked hard to establish this speed cubing as a sport in Sri Lanka. He invest his time ,money and emotions for this.
You guys will never know about his dedication and commitments.
