@@LukeQuin you should reinforce the drum, didn't realize it was that fragile until i saw this match. to me it seemed like something inside the bot got hit and that's why it lost power
@@SethiozProject The black parts of the drum are just 3D printed TPU dust covers. They have been redesigned to stay on better. Not enough weight to make them any stronger. The robot lost power because an internal wire inside of a battery pack broke off one of the cells. I've never seen a failure like that before. Might try to add some strain relief to the battery wires, but its real tight inside there.
Absolutely! Can't believe it even stood a chance let alone won. Out-weighted by Pepe, Pepe has a lot newer architecture / overall design and somehow the little guy won anyway. Kudos to it but I'm still gonna buy stock in pepe.
Pepe lost his main armor. A single structure is more reliable than screwed or riveted parts. For a small detail he lost the fight. It was a good fight.
It took about 6 hours to get it back into fighting condition. It was painful, but when you fly half way across the country for a two day event you can’t give up.
Win or lose, a Pepe Silvia match is always spectacular.
I'm really impressed with that shuffle mechanism! well done.
many legs were lost in battle. But they never stopped shuffling till the robot lost power.

Those were some incredible hits, Kablooey Tango is a monster of a featherweight. Until Pepe died that was too close to call.

So awesome! But just thinking about the amount work you did or will put in to getting pepe back to fight shape is a little cringe worthy.
