It may work to enlarge the image but it is not something I have tried. It is good to know you are looking for another type of lure to build. That is how I started wanting lures designed for my style of fishing so I built my own.
use the wood of your choice, denser wood will be a harder to shape but no great problem, western red cedar would be another good choice, i have never used willow but it could work. Balsa is just easy to work and very light.
Ok i have decided since Im about done with your baa crankbait i would like to make this phox minnow as well.I have one problem though.Once again I will be using lead as weight and was wondering what size for the 2 weights using lead thanks paul
hi paul nice videos but i wanna ask u about weights what is the mechanism for it which means how u put it in the right place in lure which give u the best action i realy need to know how u do it is it by luck or it;s scince thx
Yeah it should work, might need a thicker wire to keep the proportions but it should work. However, you might need play around with weight as a thin brass tube isn't going to be enough to balance it. Also whats the most important- way thicker lip as it will have to withstand much bigger stresses.
dede hyung I had forgotten about that, my wife wouldn't do the photograph so i had get my sister, and she only agreed if I promised she wouldn't be recognizable, so she had to shake her head for a bit. Thanks
