Damn, this is sick! I've been searching for an easy solution to do this, and this is super easy and really cheap compared to sites like synthflow. $20 for 5 hours of calling is amazing. Thanks for jumping through the hoops to figure this out and share it for us. Please make more bland videos. Liked and subscribed!
Really helpful and clear instructions. I'm using the service from their dashboard and playing with Zapier now, so your GPT example was just another great example to add to my tools. Thanks for sharing your insights. Much appreciated.
There are a lot of morons that put out junk and act like "gurus" but you actually know your shit. this is great content w/o hype. I wish you nothing but success. If you ever have time, i'd love to chat as well.
The content was great, It would be great if you could make more content about bland ai, 'cause I didn't found any video on how to use bland ai, This would really be a great Idea.
Good video very informative. I’ll definitely be setting up custom GPTs with Bland. what are real world that y’all plan on using something like this for?
This is awesome! 👍 I didn't see a method for a response. Only for call and log. Does this actually use the GPT for all the AI responses or is that done on the BlandAI side?
GREAT VIDEO - I noticed the AI did not follow your prompt it never mentioned the name of the person or your name. When I test this it does not get the names right is this a glitch or something?
Currently, BlandAI only supports English, Spanish, French, and Polish. To change the language, you need to tell the GPT to set “language” to the language code you want; ENG, ESP, FRE, POL respectively
@@tech-at-work can we use anyother platform because GPT does support Danish Language. Right ? We do not need to train our own LLM for danish we can use Danish via GPT Through anyother platform.
Yes! Bland AI sells phone numbers, there’s a monthly fee but you can have it answer the phone, and transfer the call to a different number (your phone number) if criteria are met (ie person says “let me speak with an operator”)
I have many pdf with handwritten data. I'd like ChatGPT4 (Vision and/or Ai PDF Plugin) to OCR the data from a table, perform some calculations and finally edit or append the pdf with the results. Ultimately, I'd like this to be a standalone browser or desktop application that anyone (even non Plus users) can drag and drop a file into.. but how do you know if the task is even do-able via Assistant API.. or if a Custom GPT must be used? And/Or how do you know if you need a plugin (ex. Ai PDF) or if OpenAI's stock data analysis feature is enough?
Thanks! I’ve tried pasting it here but colab won’t let me. You may need a Google account for the colab program to load for you - I’ll try to repost it again when I’m at my computer
@@tech-at-work Thank you, found this one with the scheme 🙂! It can, they recommend you feed it an example conversation in the task prompt just help it understand, but it can generally handle the convo just based on your initial prompt
Hi, Can you provide a video that compares and contrasts air ai, vodex, calen ai, grid space, and bland ai? I’m trying to understand each. For example, is vodex just using bland ai? Can I create my own no code phone agent with just a custom gpt and no bland? Are these other companies using bland and just an api integration to their website and selling to customers? I think I’m confusing myself somehow and need more guidance.
I have a question here: can we manually type name and number in the GPT to make a call? Isn't it possible to integrate a google calendar or an excel sheet in the GPT? so that GPT can automatically call itself?
@@tech-at-work hello, Thanks for your response ! What about text to speech ? Do you know what models are they using for text to speech, I checked on their website if I'm not wrong they are using eleven labs.
Great Video! We build out custom Voice AI integrations with a full stack software for businesses. Integrated into CRM's like HighLevel with Appointment setting, Rebooking, Q&A, etc. We have an affiliate program if you have any interest just let me know! Love your work my friend, keep it up!
I’m seeing similar platforms like vodex supporting over 90 languages. So I guess that answers my previous question. It seems like the tech for vodex is in house and doesn’t use bland ai.
Amazing video really. i tried it as i saw the video and it worked! just a few questions that I have if you can help me: 1. How can I configure the voice? Is there a way? 2. As someone who is not very techy, in general how do I find the right link to put in the shcema gpt? In the documentation there are so many different options. 3. Is there a way to configure the phone number it is calling from? In my tests it was calling from random and different numbers every time, is there a way with bland ai? Anyhow thanks for this amazing video. More on bland would be amazing I am subscribing only thanks to this one. 🎉😎👍💪
Thanks! Yeah its super easy to create custom voices, I plan to cover this in the next video, but in the app.bland.ai dashboard for your account, there is a voices section, and you can Create Voice Clone at the top right, it just needs some audio to baseline from (then specify the voice_id in your GPT or calling function). Any OpenAPI schema builder will work to create the schema, then you just have to pick which endpoints you need based on what you're trying to do. It will call from random numbers, but Bland AI allows you to purchase a dedicated number if you want (its currently $15/month), then you can specify that in the calling function as the "from" once you've purchased it.
I run a business and always have issues with my sales staff ( employees don't want do the hard work anymore) , I would love to see something like this making sales calls for me.
Can it transfer calls to a human agent? How can you update what the person sees on the caller id when they answer? Can it call from a list or do I have to manually have it dial out each time? What happens after the call? Can it take notes or do we need another custom gpt for that?
I would suggest not reading what you say. It sounds robotic and I can see your eyes darting back and forth. Just have a few key words to read that will remind you about what you want to talk about.
Hopped on call with Bland AI COO and he was a d**che lol - Would recommend competitors. Their team doesn't seem aligned with the customer base's best interests.
Thanks to you I've built an amazing live transfer setup!! But please show us how to add Google calendar 🗓️ for real time appointment management.😮 PLEASE 🥺 🙏🙌 I know it's the Dynamic and Tools functions and Google API not understanding the routine yet.
hi can you help me. "The call failed because the account is not authorized to call international numbers. I recommend enabling international permissions on your account or using an alternative method of communication" . Is it possible to pay for this option or is it unavailable? @tech-at-work

Awesome, yeah I wanna train it on custom voices, I think that could be a fun one
