The reason why Gary and Clay are rough around the edges is because Gary always idolized Clayton but Clayton doesn't like the way Gary acts and who he associates with

@@grubkillertv7243 I think it's what makes Gary a high potential character. Clayton and his brothers had a family promised to the COG yet it borderlines like they brought up to join by expectation, but Gary didn't he has his own individualism to not go the same route out of blind loyalty or family pressure/expectation. Plus the COG has seriously changed as well so Gary might even know more about it which influence why he refused the COG even if it ment going against his family, especially Lizzie and Clayton.

Hearing Clayton affectionately call Ben "squirt" is so damn sad. Squirt was Clay's nickname for Ben, and Ben even used it in his last letter to Clay before Operation Hollowstorm. They clearly loved each other very much.

There’s one I came across the other day while playing Horde that isn’t in here. Albeit, it is very similar to the “I knew you could do it, Squirt” Clayton quote towards Benjamin. I was playing as Ben and one of my teammates was Clay and while fighting a boss, I scored the last hit and got the kill. Ben quoted something like “woah, woah, I DID IT!!” And clay responded “yeah, yeah congratulations squirt, you did it”. I just think it’s worth mentioning the amount of detail put into these character interactions and when they’re in a game together, it’s awesome
Geez, this makes me hate the series for killing them off every game even more. I could play a whole campaign with the fam looking out for each other in firefights.
Bro, they fucking did Clayton's daughter dirty in Gears4. The curse should have been broken with him but they FUCKED it up again by killing her off.

There's a ton of Anthony/Ben to Marcus quotes where they adress him as "Sarge" they mainly show up when you land headshots or revives!

I think the most messed up one is when Lizzie messes up a reload and says, “I think one of my uncles died this way”
I like how they kept most of the original lines from previous games like the injured and reloading vocalizations. Makes you feel like your playing them in their respective game just a little bit.
Also dope as hell seeing them interact together. Makes you wish you could see more than one at a time at the same time.

Everyone calls them Carmine. That's what they're known as, and what they probably introduce themselves as. Only exception is Lizzie.

It's a military thing to refer to each other by last name, and sadly Marcus has never been in the same room with more than 1 Carmine so he never really had to be specific
