I've been taking lessons from two trainers and watching videos from various sources. This is one of the best executed videos I have seen, in terms of clear photography and very understandable and complete audio commentary. I've also watched a lot of Terry Laughlin ("total immersion") videos. Terry's video's are devoid of verbal commentary and leave a lot to be desired in terms of clarity and education. His videographer could learn a lot by watching this production. On the other hand, I think Terry illustrates more refined and efficient swim technique. If you watch both sources, at first you may think they are identical. However, this swimmer is distinctly "rougher" in terms of bubbles and splashes generated while swimming. Terry is virtually quiet with no splashes when his arms enter the water and there is no stream of bubbles around his hands underwater. This swimmer splashes (wasted energy) every time the elbow hits the water. Don't misunderstand me. Both illustrated beautiful and excellent swim technique. Both are fast swimmers. I just think Terry has the edge on refinement.
Already seen many videos here to understand the key points .Many told good, but this video is the best i found very well expalined and to the point.Thank you very much for this nice work.
I would like to use this video for a project in school. As I will be talking about the different swimming strokes that the're are. If you say I cannot use this video I will find another one to use. Thank you
I've struggled for months with uncomfortable goggles and just recently I found the perfect one: Speedo goggles. I have the adult size and its a perfect fit!
Can I make English and Korean subtitles for this video, please? If you publish subtitles, people who have hearing disability and are non-English speakers can benefit.
class number 72836: This was very informational i wasnt aware that you had to keep your head facing down in line. I didnt exactly remember how to do the front crawl effficiently.
