The PC engine is an amazing system, I have a PC engine Duo R CD console. The games on CD are absolutely stunning, will be buying the mini version for the collection:)
Would have bought this if Snatcher was translated. I've been lucky enough to play Snatcher several times on the Mega Cd, such a great game. Having Japanese and English options would have been perfect. OHHHHH Konaaami.
One of my favourite games :-) It's never been translated on the PC Engine though but the translation has already been done with the Mega-CD version so they missed a trick there :-(

Dam for those of you are interested in stuff like this, I recommend watching an anime called hi score girl. It will put you on a nostalgia trip back to the early 90s. The main characters is one of those gamers, where he literally breathes video games. It’s a romantic comedy with some amazing character development. It also has a very deep story.
I bought 2 months ago a pal turbografx with an everdrive flashcard. The games were so slow, due to the pal version. So I modded into a ntsc. But I think I will still buy this mini version :)

Wouldn't mind one of these as I've never experienced the PC Engine, being from the UK. I'm put off by the Japanese language games though, as, funnily enough I can't read Japanese so this limits the appeal somewhat. I can understand their inclusion, but still, they're of no use to me. Will get one when the price drops because to me, with a handful of games that are borderline unplayable because of the language barrier it's just not worth the £99 asking price. I do like a mini console though, so when the price drops I'll dive in and add it to my NES, SNES, Mega Drive, PS1, Neo Geo and C64 minis.
Too bad it was missing legendary axe and that power ranger type game, would have gotten this. And they should have just added an english translation for snatcher, even though that was only for the sega cd, but still.

But his comment still stands. Whether you originally got it or not, the fact that you have it on the PCE Mini and can't play it because it's not in your language is a bit of a turn off. It's basically a waste of space because it's technically unplayable.
@@darrendavenport3334 I understand that but think about this; at this point Snatcher’s reputation has been solidified as one of the gaming greats, people are curious and they want to play it, since the CD isn’t easy to emulate nor is the game cheap. If it’s all I’m Japanese than it becomes a huge turn off and basically shooting your self in the foot since people are unlikely to play it if it’s only in Japanese
Not really 57 games When you you didn’t give us English translations of the Japanese games. And why did we need duplicate games? Missing games that should’ve been on there also. The Kung Fu? Really, lol
Cool lineup, but I don't have much hopes for this, considering they didn't even bother having english versions/translations. Who knows how much effort went into emulation.

After 30 years i finally got my Core Grafx. I was 12 years old when the original was released. Unfortunately there was no European release.

there are 2 versions of the console. this one is the japanese version, the Turbografx16 is the western version with region games.
