This is Mario Paint Polygon Studio, meaning you get to create your own 3D models. Obviously the person playing made a Gamecube model and played the game using that.
wow, I'd never imagine this is where Wario ware concept came from also, it makes a lot of sense now that in the original plot of wario ware he started making microgames because he wanted to compete with Mario at it ( and not Pyoro as in the final game )

I get it. You created a 3D object, and one of the options was use it in microgames, later that idea was used in Warioware...but I think they are remaking it...seen the DSi trailer? There's a Warioware game where you make the games!
This is a mini game in an art studio. Think of it as you making your own 3D model, and when you play this mini game your 3D model will appear as a character. This guy's 3D model is a GameCube.

And if you are bored or tired of trying to make it, click the coffee (Take a Break) To choose Sound Bomber or Go-Go Pak4 (I watched the English Translation video and that is how it’s spelled).

It changes to English after the first 8 microgames. Then to Chinese (I think) after the next 8 microgames. Then to Japanese again.
