Great job on the road it looks great I wish i had the equipment you do i only have a old back hoe im fixing a mile and s half of old logging road We have alot of old stone femces thank god i put all the rocl in the muddy spots to stiffin them up Btw here they put the big stones on the outside and filled the centre with the smaller rocks
That is a lot of hard work. And it looks very nice too! As you say, it might not be so expensive to get rock delivered, but at the end, it's rewarding doing it by ourself. This or going to the gym... I prefer working in a field, by far! To have a better surface finish (ref. mark of 6:45), I also use the bottom/back of the bucket and slide it against loose material to smooth it out as I can. I does compact the loose material. Thanks!
I've done what you describe when I need a smooth cut-out. For this particular job, the biggest benefit would have been from lifting out the material cleanly for a good edge, rather than stuff falling through the teeth back into the ditch and a ragged edge along the grass. Thanks, Joe.
@@timberterra I wake up early every day 5 or so and I watch videos some times I fall back asleep , your video didn't pop up on my phone until 44 min late and 3 had seen it . 🤷🏻♂️ great job with your road , I saw your drink container 🤪 that I was wondering about . We'll have a great day
Looks good. Also looking like a lot of work.
Lots of work but it came out great.
I wish we had rock like what you have here in Arkansas, but where i am it's all quartz rock and peanut butter clay. Take care Glenn.
I've got more than I need. C'mon up and get some.

Nice video mate. Subscribed to see what happens next 👍
Thanks for the comment. You'll get to see how the ditch faired after a heavy rain in the next video.
