I like the new edging, those log rolls do have their draw backs, may have to go check them out at b&m . Like the bed extension too,will look lovely planted up 😊
That cerifera was such a bargain. 🎉. Looks great where u put it. Two of them left of that size in my local homebase and watching them like a hawk. Currently £80 each
I'm planning a circular border in my front garden. Currently I'm think a Ensete ventricosum'Montbeliardii in the middle with Colocasia mammoth "if can find any". Then finish off with some low level bedding plants. Obviously very seasonal and plants will either need removing for winter or protecting. I'm looking into edging and I'm not entirely sure what I want to do at the moment? But obviously cost and longevity also come into consideration.
@jimmyalvinewart6361 Most of the plants I buy are from local garden centre's. Some of the more unusual stuff I find online. Palms are normally from ebay, the plan centre or hardy palms. When I buy something of interest, I will always do a video on it 👍
Looks great
The new edging looks good, Jim!
@palmsexoticsuk2194 Wasn't sure at first but I think I like it 🤔

@Plant_Mad_Paul I've had to put up a temporary fence up to stop the dog getting to it. He love to eat it for some reason 🤮

@David_Banner Sounds like a good plan, there's loads of options out there for edging but the plants will take centre stage 👍
Hi Jim palms. May I ask where you got your cordylines and palms

That's a lot of horse sh*t 😂
I'll hopefully be doing the same with some bare ground for next year
@@essexhognose1808 It certainly smells interesting in my garden at the moment 👍
@@jimspalmsuk5098 biggest problem I've got is that it's my front garden, thankfully it's not hot and summer with the windows open
@@essexhognose1808 you wouldn't want that.
What type of lawn mower do you use to cut your grass?
@cherylmartin6338 I have a worx battery powered lawn mower.
