I bought a Tiger Tank. Your Brother Inspired me to do so. I got also a Panzer 4. But I don't want to betray the STUG LIFE. But the Panzer 4 offers so much more for roughly the Same Points. Or is the Stugs lower Profile that much better?
Love a Tiger! Once you have lived the STUG LIFE it's great to use those skills with other armoured vehicles such as the panzer 4, you can always roll the Stug out again!
I am building the Waffen SS starter box, and the StuG is nice model. I am leaving the barrel off so I can switch to the StuH. I am thinking about running the StuH and a Puma. Love your videos on BA tactics. Keep up the good work!
StuH and Puma is very powerful and actually relatively affordable, I've run it a few times a while back, I've no doubt you'll have fun with that combo! Cheers for your kind words, any particular units you'd like to see covered just let me know!
9:41 Thank you so muc for this ONE! Got a STug in my German Gernadier STarter. I was aiming for a Panzer 4 in the Winter German Starter... Question is, should I sell the STug and get a Panzer 4... or should I build, Paint, play and enjoy the Stug? 13:11 STUG RESPECT.... CUT YOUR THEET WITH THE STUG! BECOMING A GREAT TANK COMMANDER! The first time the Stug was used was the initial invasion of France in May 1940. Also some of that 10,000 made also included about 1,500 Stug IV which used the same casemate structure and weapons but on a Panzer IV chassis. There is one big advantage with the later variants in the game and that is the remote controlled top MMG where you do not suffer the open top when using it the same with the Hetzer/Jagdpanzer T38. Thing with me I have used my StuH 42 about 8 times over the 2 for the Stug III Ausf G in games as the 105mm is just so more useful when going against buildings and infantry and diff with infantry in said buildings.
Ah yeah I forgot about the bonus of the mmg not suffering open topped, great input thanks! That's interesting about the stug iv, 1500 is quite a few chassis indeed.
@@scholaprogenium7276 It was because Alkett was bombed (By the 8th AF and RAF in early 1944) and was the only mfg of the Stug's at the time so they was forced to switch to the Pz IV's as a stop gap until the major damage was repaired but Alkett was never able to get to pre bomb levels of production.
You don't pick the stug life... Jokes aside a couple of reasons come to mind; running a Finnish list so it's between a stug or unreliable captured vehicles! Another reason could be the stug's low profile, this is an advantage that cannot be overstated, I can't count the amount of times my stug could get hard cover and knock out turreted vehicles. Trust me, run a stug, your armoured vehicle game will improve!

Unfortunately I built mine with the TC standing up in his seat. Looks like I will need to buy another to keep StuG life Low-key on the tabletop
why pick a stug III over a panzer IV? for extra 5 points, you get turret, tiger fear, and a co-ax mmg. sounds good deal to me
