Thanks! Does the owners manual allow for other oil weight? My 2018 Elantra has 5w20 on the oil cap but the owners manual says I can use 5w30, which is what I use.
Hi Joe! mine manual doesn't however I seen cases where people use other weight depending on where their car was sold (some makers something specify slightly different oil weight based on a hotter or colder climate) or when they want to get more performance or protection wear over fuel economy oil. Check out the Bobistheoilguy forums, it's a goldmine of information for everything related to oils. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!
Great informative video, short and straight to the point. Do you use any ramps or jacks? These new corollas are so low getting some work done under it is a hassle, and I plan to lower mine.
Thanks Kevin! ah yes I noticed that too, definitely lower. I use this guy amzn.to/3dCcmLA it's basically a portable lift system, it's a bigger investment over a jack and stands but man it has save me so much time lifting the car (specially on lowered cars). I actually have a review coming up for it where I go over what accessories I got for it and where I place it under the Corolla, stay tuned bud!
The Raceramps 56" ramps work perfectly. Get a nice creeper also.
Bester Video danke
You're welcome Waldemar Seibel! Cheers from California! 🍻

This isn’t specific to the Corolla hatch need to show lifting points and what side plastic to remove. Keep up the content though 👍🏽
Hi Anthony and thank you! ah yes this may be applicable to the sedan that uses the 2.0 M20A-FXS engine but since I don’t have access to one I can’t confirm the process, parts and specifications are the same. Regarding the plastic cover you can see where I remove that at the 0:35 mark Hope this helps, Cheers!
@@AlexAutoFun I think Anthony was referring to the plastic covers on the jack lifting points.
Hi RC! My E210 did not have any covers on the lift points, maybe the sedan does, but I don't have access to one so I can't confirm. Cheers!@@RC-ox9yx
