I had a recent flight from ATL to CLT where my seat-mates, who were complete strangers, engaged in non-stop chatter the whole flight. Each trying to outdo the other on their children’s successes. The final indignity was arriving in Charlotte there was a ground stop due to lightning so I had to endure another 30 minutes of this chatter. The longest 45 minute flight in my life.

One of the other passengers i believe. She kept telling the flight attendant that she 'needed wine' and 'she would calm down'. It never did happen...
