Paradise Tree Snake Tongue-flicking behaviour

A short video showing the tongue-flicking behaviour of the Paradise Tree Snake. Video is slowed down (to 20% playing speed; look out for zooming in of video) for most parts of the video. This is to allow the viewer to appreciate its Tongue-flicking behaviour, probably tasting for the presence of geckos and small bird. Note that this is a small individual (head is barely more than a centimetre wide), and it moves very fast (note that the start and end of the video are played at real time).
Background sound is inherent of the soundscape at Berlayer Creek Boardwalk at Labrador Park (and partly due to the slowing down of sound).
