Just a note for your husband: his salt buckets make him look like a mad scientist. If I were looking to grab a towel and stumbled in there, my mind would go to Breaking Bad lol And I know you don't like how heavy the bed is but it shows the quality! Our Avocado mattress is so heavy we'd have to hire movers to take it, but it is nicest bed we have slept on thus far!

Beautiful, have no idea how i missed this video!!! We wouldnt get planning for a house like this here in Ireland! This has a lot of square footage too! We built a 6,000 sq foot a few years ago here, still trying to get things done in it 🙈. My husband wants to do the work himself but i have wood in the hall 4 years now and still no sign of it going up 😢
Your home is beautiful. My favorite areas are you big bathroom and your kitchen. It’s so awesome that you and your husband was able to completely customize your home.

Just too much cuteness, I have to ignore him when you have him on cause I will end up adopting a corgie and my hubby will not let me hear the end of it. I like yours but its too big for our space, we can do it if we take out the middle drink section lol So glad you like reading books because when I do get a chance to sit down and comment, I write a novel. Loved the home tour! Your home is absolutely beautiful! I have been struggle to figure how to shoot a home tour without showing the layout of our home! You did an awesome job! I also love how realistic & relatable the state of your home is. I also think it’s hilarious that my name is Remy 🤣😭😭! We recently built our home with a builder & I wish we were able to build completely custom. I love the style in which homes in Texas are built! The pool, 😱🥰🥰🥰🥰 we have been on a wait list to build our pool, ( they said 2024) hopefully we can find another quality pool company & wish I could dig the hole myself, 😩! Whelp, I am looking forward to see more! New subbie here!! 🥰

I'm curious how you can't build completely custom? Sorry, I'm not from the US so it's a bit alien to me. Here (Ireland) if you want to build you get plans drawn up yourself, there's no builders who has his own plans etc but it is hard to get planning where I am. Rural places, you have to be from the area and prove it (like you went to school there, bank statements, sport clubs etc) when my husband and I wanted to build, we just put planning in my name as he wasn't from the area and we built on my family land. My cousin is really struggling to get planning at the moment on his land, it even had an existing house on it (where my mother was reared), it's been over 1 year and still no permission. The planning dept don't like the look of the front of the house 😮, it's up a really long drive in the hills and wont be able to be seen from the road but 'they' dont like it! Its a traditional style house but if it was 1 of these modern boxes that every one is building here, he'd get it, its shocking what they can dictate, yous think they were the ones paying and living in it. Our planning dept can dictate everything- the layout, the size of windows, the style of the house, if it's brick (which is exceptionally hard to get) the exterior finish! The only thing they'll 100% go for is natural stone! Rant over 🤣
The axolotl's are so cute & I bet your kids wanted them because they're MINECRAFT players/fans!!!! I didn't even know what an axolotl waa until I started playing Minecraft lol... the gray one looks so diff from the pink one but both so cute!

I really enjoyed hearing the stories behind your build and choices, you have good taste 🙌🏻 Also my daughter was horse crazy and is now learning barrel racing. But when she was young she used to take popsicle sticks and hot glue and spend hours building horse corrals/barns and fencing for her play horses. Seeing your daughters room really brought back memories 🥰
