@@illegitiminoncarborundum115 Taking acid sedatives and plenty of booze is the path to a spiritual journey you know that religion is for people that don't want to go to hell whilst spirituality is for people that have been to hell.
If you do your research, Bill W did experiment with acid because he was still on a journey of trying to understand his brokenness from within. When he did realise why his dependence on people, places and the exterior to make him happy he soon realised what the problem was. AA elevated him to a god and he was seeking fulfilment in that which was making him unhappy. He wrote a letter on this called emotional sobriety.

The AA meetings give me an opportunity to practice my public speaking skills.
Exactly..went to rehab a year ago..was always a bit nervy talking in front of a group..now i dont blink an eye of the thought..a year clean of all substances and i dont miss the life a bit..took me 52years to realise its great living life with a clear head..NO SURRENDER!
