It was with three kids. I put a post on twitter they asked me to DM. They just sent me a standard response with no info on. I have in the past but the cost stops me as still quite a bit cheaper to drive down. I think for us was around 700. Tunnel plus fuel about 350 so half the price. Also for us the old Zeebrugge would have been better.
Great update guys. We've used the Eurotunnel many times with the motorhome and we normally get on way earlier than we booked, except this July, we were booked on one around midnight and got there an hour earlier but by the time we got to the lane they stopped letting any more through and we found out from the van in front of us that the train was full and we had to wait until the 01:55am train so this messed us up totally especially as France is 1 hour ahead of us. I think we got to camp around 03:30 in the end. I know the train is more expensive but over the years we've not had any issues. Enjoy the rest of your holiday and look forward to your next instalment 👍
I think we have just ended up being unlucky twice Steve with our travels. It messed us up a bit as the intention was to go to Rouen city the day before instead we just stayed next to the hotel. I think last time we got to campsite so late with a huge caravan they gave our pitch away. We had to park in kids play area. Thanks for watching.
Sounds a bit brutal! Have you ever considered going on the ferry via Hull? Would be a lot easier maybe that fighting UK traffic and border issues.
