Awesome! I am learning a lot from you! I have found those knife blades and did not know they were called Sheffield knives. That silver wheel is amazing! I found a silver ring with the same scroll work at a trade site so I’m wondering if it is a Robert C item.

That’s amazing, definitely could be. There were other smiths that used that technique but definitely 1700s.

What is kettle scrap?

Pieces of a copper kettle, that once the kettle was damaged would be broken. Or cut into smaller pieces to be used later for tool making or jewelry making. It’s one thing I find a lot of.
