I thought HOPEWORLD would stay my fave creation from Jhope but JACK IN THE BOX is truly a masterpiece of sounds, genre and lyricism !! Jhope cannot be underestimated because he really has the whole package and can do it all.

@@myouniverse0613 I mean watch lyric videos. They could do what they’re doing and watch a lyric video to the song as well. That way they can listen to the music AND understand the song any what the guys want to say with it. They glance at the lyrics but they don’t ready them to understand if that makes sense.
@@erikacannady1469 Even when they react to lyric videos they don't pay that much attention to the lyrics because they're more into the music. Occasionally they do point out lyrics they liked, but that's just not the focus of their discussions.
@@myouniverse0613 and I get that. However, I think it’s important to read the lyrics to understand who bts are. They can listen to the music then go back to read the lyrics how other creators do it.
"MORE" made me scream with giddiness because I've always loved alt-rock and it was such a joyful surprise to witness j-hope breaking out of his creative 'box' to show his different colors

The way most armys knew it waas Tae at the back as soon as the video was released. i remember that day so clearly, we were all trying to get the clearest image we could to prove it was him and only found out it actually was when the making film was released. Hope World and Jack in the Box are such amazing conceptual albums Hobi is genuinely a creative mastermind. Hope you get around to the albums soon and his Lollapalooza performance in full, it really was such an incredible show. BAND POPPED OFF. i still regularly watch clips of the performances like he truly outdid himself.
Hobi mixing boombap (hiphop) and rock was brilliant
jack in the box is truly the culmination of jhope’s experience and growth, its his best work in terms of lyricism and production in my opinion

Hobi is not one of their favourites..they didn't even go back on either of the song to listen again to a part . More has many such moments where they could have gone back and listened twice. They did not discuss the music or jhope, all they were interested were in the cameo

Hope World aesthetic was for sure vibrant and fun but if you pay attention to the lyrics they're dark and deep and thoughtful, that's why i wasn't that surprised with jitb cuz i knew he had that in it. He just matched the vive to the lyrics this time 😂

In Daydream, I always thought that it was a mistranslation when he said “reach on a scar” but it says scar on the teleprompter during hobipalooza.

Jack in the a box caught a lot of us off guard. The whole album is a masterpiece and I continue to listen to it from top to bottom, just as Hobi wanted it to be listened to.
Guys the title song is Arson so that’s a hint about the bands faces being deformed - this is an incredible concept album so I recommend listening in order from start to finish - HOBI is so wonderful at expressing his thoughts and feelings thru his music and performance 💜

In both Daydream & More there is V's cameo lol. In daydream it's the guy who's sleeping behind jhope, the one he says 'wake up' to in the ending of the mv.

Thanks for showing Jhope some love! I love Hope World and JITB and can’t pick between the two because they’re so different. Summer, you were right when you mentioned that Hobi was feeling boxed in and wanted to get out. Everyone saw him as their dancing sunshine but he really showed us a different side with chapter 2!
18:28 it's not (just) about the hairstyles. but it's also about how the members stand, how they carry themselves, and their fashion..
example of that was when they released Jimin's trailer video of his documentary, one producer moved/danced and dressed like Yoongi, (the shape of his body also almost looked like Yoongi's) so a lot of ARMYs thought he'd appear in the documentary

Y’all should watch the jitb docu. He explains everything, out of all the ch 2 albums his def had the most built up concept and he goes in depth on how he feels like he was trapped before and wants to expand aka get out the box. Also hobipallooza and album production in the docu.

When you asked if that was him sleeping, it was Tae, who had visited him on the set. And Tae is in the office scene, as one of the office workers- again, Tae visited him on the set that day, and brought him snacks. The guys are so great about supporting each other in their solo projects.

Daydream is one of the darkest songs lyrically in jhope's discography.
It's masked by the colourful beat and the video. I hope everyone reads the lyrics to daydream and not take it in a surface level after listening to the song once.
Jitb is a very cohesive and connected album. To get the full experience I always listen top to bottom.

I saw a theory abt how More is what happens after Arson. His passion and dreams are burning so bright he burns with it and still want more.
Oh really? I thought More is before arson which represents the beginning of his career that he wants more. More passion more love but later on he is burnt out and asked himself after he achieved everything, he ask himself to choose what “Do I put out the fire, or burn even brighter” suga/ agust d also had songs that talked about similar things that at the beginning he is restless he wants more more fame more everything and then in nterlude: Shadow he started to be afraid of the limelight etc but the theory you looked at sounds interesting
