That game is a ripoff, but I think the person who recommended the game was talking about the actual game you can get on steam. It’s really good in my opinion
The actual game is on the PC. This one looks like it's fairly new and haven't been tested. The monster should NOT be coming that quickly. Especially as you view the VHS. Unless you're supposed to blitz through it......

You'd be so proud of me, for a non-gamer, i got a second hand X box 360. I did a Lego game and got to the end and started a more scary one. Killed 8 people and several puppies went sleepy time.

I've seen all of them and it's helped desensitize me to the horror aspect so now I'm looking forward to getting some spare time to play it myself 😅 (I don't like horror either so I watch other people play them to make sure I don't have nightmares)
If you hate horror games, then you don't wanna play Choo Choo Charlie. For context, imagine a horror game with Thomas the Tank Engine, but as a giant spider monster creature. ^^; Then again, THAT'LL give you some inspirations for new "Creatures of Darkness" art projects!

Amanda the adventurer is a steam computer game I think? It’s allot easier than this one, this mobile game one is fake.

The version for PC is awesome! You should definitely play it, just for the puzzles. The mobile version does not do the PC version justice at all.
