I lost it at Typhlosion I'm impressed even with looking at reference photos that Kitty Editor could get that one 😂
Typhlosion was my all time favorite starter. I lost it when I seen the “paint job” (let’s face it, it’s not painted. XD). It’s so janky.

Most off these look fixable. A lot off them are a pretty good sculpt. Just cleaning up the edges off the figures and repainting in the right colors would do wonders.
Exactly my thoughts. Most of the sculpts themselves are actually pretty good, when you look past the paint jobs

@@Mapple318 I would probably recolor them as shinies. I don't think the shinies in official merch are easy to find or at least they weren't when I was a kid.
I see this as an opportunity for making possibly your own Pokémon out of the figures and repaint them

Mantyke looked perfect to me. Umbreon and Reshiram were pretty close.
Typhlosion is my favorite Pokemon but had the worst figure here.
I bought a bunch of the Tomy figures in the early 2000’s and the figures back then were so well made. I see pokemon figures now in stores and they are very derpy looking and usually crooked and just not the same quality.
I actually bought a box from Hong Kong which contained a persons entire figure collection of gen 1 and gen 2 pokemon and luckily they were all real figures and weren’t counterfeit.
Lol it's the same distribution in the box as the LOL dolls, maybe are made by the same company 😂😂

Gonna be honest, even bootleg, I was unreasonably happy to see Spinarak was one of them. I love that funky green spider so much
the umbrella on the box could be an attempt at jigglypuff ears, and the eevee's face isn't a mouth, it's a shrunken diglett nose!
There are real Pokemon figure Advent calendars (including a countdown to Halloween one!) and if you have coupons or price match, they don't have to be $30. If you're a big fan definitely see what coupons you can find!

I can buy these cheap little figures at my favorite comic book store. I have no idea where they get them, but they look just like these. They're derpy but cute.
same. i was gonna buy a few of them one day but upon inspection realized they were all pretty goofy. and im not an art person so i def couldnt repaint them. i was kind of surprised they chose to sell them

I really appreciate how up-front you are about not always knowing the names. I also love the franchise, and played the games/watched the shows a lot through the years but only know the first few gens myself. Its crazy some people know all of them by heart
I saw another reviewer open a fake Harry Potter advent calendar. It was hilarious! It might even be made by the same company that made this Pokémon one.

I don't know about the Harry Potter one, but I'm 100% sure it's the same company that made the LOL one on her other channel. The box is identical and I swear the numbers are at the same place.

Yes they can be bought alone, and few of them are actually REALLY good molds with awful printing.
I got a whole lot of these bootleg Pokemon off Ali years ago for my son's 10th birthday party. Hid them all round my yard and got all the kids to go Pokemon hunting. I hid all but the Charizard because he's my favourite Pokemon and he was so munty and I love him. His name is Churazurd and he lives on my shelf 💜
To be honest here, I’ve watched Pokémon for almost 20(ish) years & sometimes I’ve had a hard time pronouncing their names through each generation 😅🥰😅

I got Spinarak as mine, I love that lil funky spider. All of the molds were good [poor Azumarill though], so for 15 bucks, those are pretty decent for paint jobs. Heck, Reshiram would be the easiest to fix up, just cover up the bad paint job with the eyes and reapply them in their proper place!

i am here to make jackie and whoever reads this feel old: pokemon ruby and sapphire (gen 3) came out 23 years ago, pokemon diamond and pearl (gen 4) came out 17 years ago :3

The weirdest thing to me is that I swear I can see the eyes on the sculpts and the painter just decided to go off and do their own thing. It makes it like 10x derpier
The thing I noticed was that most (all except Reshiram) had good molds… it was just the paint jobs. So if someone wanted they could get that and then repaint them.
The way I loudly exclaimed Tyhplosion!! when you opened day 20, lol. One of my top faves! The paint job was indeed terrible but the sculpt didn't look bad really.
I was totally happy with my birthday pokemon here being pidgey until I saw typhlosion was actually int he mix. TToTT
If you repainted them for your main channel it would be amazing to watch! I feel like most of these could be saved with a better paint job. Also love you guessing the Pokemon. As an avid pokemon fan it made me laugh

Oh no, so bad! 🤣My birthday is 20th, that's where you got the Typhlosion. I have to say that I do love Ekans, the expression is pretty accurate, but the paint made it hilarious! Some of these are new to me, I barely remember the first generation names, but I love them. New generations are cool looking tho, espcially the legendary ones.
