Me personally, SHFT wise stacking... What I do is I get goldbacks and 2g - 5g bars in assys packs... I also skipped the constitutional silver or junk silver as some call it and stack 1g,5g, 1/4oz,1/2oz silver rounds/bars... I don't go crazy with it but I do have about hundred dollar spot value in silver and $3,000 in gold in this manner... and I store it in my go box bags that I keep in my home in car and so forth... believe it or not the gold backs are fairly popular with bikers and Backcountry people out here in Washington State we usually use them to trade for food or other things out in the woods where there is no cellular service, ect... anyways just my2cents😂

SD Bullion is much more expensive than many other premium online dealers. Regardless, 1/10 oz eagles do have a super high premium. Imo, 1/4 oz is about as low as I'd go on fractional, as far as stacking goes 👍🏻

The gold eagles are not .999 or 24k. They are actually the same composition of the old British Sovereign.9167 or 22k gold and the rest is silver.
I LOVE the sovereign and also other .900 old European gold coins like the 20 Francs and the 20 Marks. The 20 Marks are .2304 oz of gold .90 and .10 silver they are way too cheaper than 1/4 and 1/2 modern US mint.

Gold sovereigns are an undervalued gold coin. I can typically get them at 2-5% premium. There are some that are worth a lot of money. Those 10 gram gold bars are a good option for fractional gold. They are the same size as a credit card in the assay card. Easily fits in your wallet for emergencies. I picked up several for spot last black Friday.

I stay away from assay cards entirely because there are so many fakes, as the packaging makes them somewhat harder to verify or test. Everyone talks about Post-SHTF, as if that's the real bad outcome that is somehow most likely. What about if you refuse digital enslavement and are simply turned off and out of the system? That's the real SHTF circumstance that faces many. I almost never hear anyone talk about this.

Since I enjoy to make weekly purchases, fractional gold is a favorite of mine. Usually 5g or 10g bars, 1/10th & 1/4oz coins.
As far as silver, buying 10oz bars.. Kinda stepped away from Ag the last couple years b/c of the ridiculous premiums. Anyhow, great job on the video 👍🏼

I buy the George Washington and 1993 Madison half dollars for about 13. Unlike pre-64, there is no wear. For quarters, the 1999-2009 state quarters sets cost me 27-30 while I was buying them. They are proof , so no wear here either. I also mass bid about 13 for Standing Lib., Franklin and 64 Kennedy. only win about 15 percent of the time, but there is always a ton for sale. I only buy from sellers with over 100k sales and 99.5 percent positive seller rating and free shipping. The Goldbacks have a stupid high premium, about 100 percent, but they are beautiful and I have bought a set of each state. Hope the Texas and Idaho come out soon. I agree the best gold fractional are the Euro gold coins.

I’ve been trying to research Goldbacks for a couple weeks now. I really like the idea and would like to acquire quite a few. But what I’ve found interesting at Alpine Gold is that they do a “Goldback Lease” where you vault your Goldbacks with them for free AND they pay you interest on them. I have yet to see or read any reviews on this “lease”. Sounds like a good deal but I my reservations about someone else holding my precious metals. It’s strange because I “trust” my bank with my cash.
I’m thinking about doing a trial lease to see any positive/negative results. Do you have any insight on these “leases” @Smart Silver Stacker??

Hrmm, I still believe if you do not hold it, you don't own it. Even though I do have some goldbacks, I don't know if the price of gold has to double (the premium is about 100 percent) before you get your money back (plus lease fees). Maybe they will be worth more than spot price when you sell. SD Bullion has the best prices I have seen for the 5,10,25 and 50. The one goldback is much cheaper at Bullion Exchange.

Superb overview! Really a first-rate analysis of fractional options for the habitual stacker-
I confess to being a fan of the Argor-Heraeus 5 gram bars as well as 1/10 ounce gold coins. And while I’m aware of the increased premium for these options, it allows me to leverage my budget for my monthly silver bullion and Constitutional silver purchases. Lots of itches to scratch where my stacking is concerned. 🪙🧏🏼‍♂️
