Another GC performance you might want to check out is Ghost Riders in the Sky. Combining the aforementioned bass with gorgeous hair gently blowing, we discover that he has a wonderful whistle as well! 👻
My favorite Geoff Castellucci performance is The Headless Horseman. He has a great sense of humor as well as that wonderful nether-regions-vibrating bass.
Geoff has a 5 octave range, as well as his sub harmonics. He does use instrments in his solo work. Have a listen to one of his latest covers "Till Then" which is a Mills Brothers song from 1944 during WW2. The lady in that piece is his wife Kathy who collabs in his work. And his work with Voiceplay is incredible.
This one is phenomenal as an arrangement and I love it.. But then his arrangements are always incredible whether for himself or for VoicePlay, the a capella group he is bass singer in.
Ahhh...the curse of getting stuff released by TH-cam! You're not the only reactor putting out Christmas stuff at the end of February! Yes Geoff has a stunning bass voice, but what is most impressive is how good he is in the tenor range. And his productions are so, so clever. Thanks for this one Steve!
When I was a little kid, we lived next to the fire station and they would blast Christmas carols through their loudspeakers from early morning to night all through December. I learned to loathe pretty much every traditional Christmas song, but this arrangement is just so beautiful. I’m glad you’re doing this! Great reaction!
This is by far my favorite Geoff Christmas song! The arrangement is just so good! My fav VoicePlay Christmas song is the Grinch. It always makes me nostalgic for the old cartoon I'd watch every year.
Well, well, well... I'd really like to watch you react to the first Geoff's video I ever watched: "Far over the Misty Mountains cold", from "The Hobbit". 🙂 Still one of my faves. 🤩 Or his rendition of "House of the Rising Sun", or of "High and dry". 🙂 Or to Voiceplay's "The Dragonborn comes", or "My mother told me" (where he earned the nickname of "Foghorn Geoff" from a pair of other reactors 😁). Or, for different reasons (and for the majestic bass line he "plays" all along the song) VP cover of Metallica's "Nothing else matters". What a gorgeous song it is. 🙂 See you next time!
I just found your channel today and I enjoy your reactions. There is one young artist I believe you should check out. She is a young lady from Russia. Her name is Diana Ankudinova. I would suggest listening to her version of Human
If you want more of his deep deep bass sounding songs, check out house of the rising sun, far over the misty mountains cold, 16 tons or the rains of castamere
Please add Marcelito Pomoy to your reaction list...The Prayer. This young man grew up on the streets of the Philippines. He is self-taught and his voice is amazing.
This is my favorite of his songs. I don't like the song - so bored with it - and then Geoff came along and did this and now... well, it's a favorite. He keeps getting better at reacting to himself... in his Elvis cover of Way Down he ended up naming the three of him that sang backup... and the names are sticking. I like his sense of humor
hello from indonesia, ilove your reaction vidio, i heard you also like rock song, can you REACTION "ISYANA SARASVATI FT DEAD SQUAD ( IL SOGNO) ",. Hope you will accept my request 🥰, have a great day !
Haley is my favorite female vocalist of all time!! PMJ's Creep featuring Haley is my favorite cover ever by anyone!! And it's PMJ's #1 with 113M views and counting!
Geoff has an unbelievable five octave vocal range !!!

Geoff is simply the best! I can't get enough of him and VoicePlay!

This was never a favorite Christmas Carole. Then Geoff did this arrangement and now is on my Christmas playlist.

Far Over The Misty Mountains Cold. Do it. It's magnificent
I loathe Christmas carols and play this one almost daily. The rhythm and smooth voice has made this one a staple on my playlist
Geoff so very talented. I love everything he does. The acapella group he is in, VoicePlay, is always great too.

Loved your reaction. I just subscribed after your Pentatonix reaction. I'm looking forward to more.
Geoff is a master of Subterranean notes. Tim Foust and Avi Kaplan are huge at this game too
Geoff does have a 5 octave range A0 to A5. Geoff also has done some videos on How to Sing Really Low.
Why do I feel like I've seen this reaction before?

Geoff does play with his voice. ( sorry, bad pun!)
He actually has a 5 octave range. Check out his version of The Headless Horseman.

Hi Steve, I have some suggestions for you:
in line with your current selection there would be Alexandr Misko and Haley Reinhart (PMJ) you'll love!
Haley is my favorite female vocalist of all time!! PMJ's Creep featuring Haley is my favorite cover ever by anyone!! And it's PMJ's #1 with 113M views and counting!
You talk too much during the whole freaking video!!! You should spend the time to listen then comment after.
