      No I went to the salon to have my hair lifted for color. I maintain my color by putting a semi-permanent color on every 6-8 weeks. I use Pravana Red and Wild Orchid.

  • @orianateyorbeard
    @orianateyorbeard 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    You literally used the same hair dye as me and use the same brand but different products. I used a 30 developer though. I already dyed it but for redying I thought you werent suppose to reuse or continue using a developerto redye

    How often do you refresh your dye?

  • @rosalindgrimes2437

    Is your hair natural. I tried your tutorial using the products I had at home, setting wrapping foam, shampoo and conditioner and flexi rods my hair was bushy without curl definition. Can you please specify the products you use for the blow out, perm rod water curls under dryer hour and a hslf

    • @NaturallyCurla
      @NaturallyCurla  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Rosalind Grimes I'm natural, but I have very fine hair. What I use might not be working for your hair. Like, I can't use products that work for women with thicker hair. That's the amazing thing about being natural we come in different textures. I haven't had a perm since middle school, when a friend perm my hair without my moms permission and my mom made me grow it out. Eight years ago I had heat damage and color damage. I was natural but my hair was damage so I cut it off. My big chop was ugly on me. But yes natural to the bone, just have fine hair with a lot of strands.

      Naturally Curla My hair is fine also but the grade I guess is course? I washed, conditioned and blow dried it straight. Right now it just looks like a semi curled natural Afro. It totally flopped. Without chemicals, my hair is basically untrained to water. It just naps up instantly. I'm wondering are there product I can use to train my hair to have a certain texture

    Her hair is fine???

    • @NaturallyCurla
      @NaturallyCurla  7 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      002kimani yes, my hair is fine. I just have a lot of strands. Fine hair refers to the thickness and diameter of the actual individual strand. It is often confused with thin hair..Thin hair means you have lesser hair follicles.

    • @002kimani
      @002kimani 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for clearing that up, I usually equate the two as the same!! Mines definitely thin

    did you pour the bleach and the dye together for the red and the magenta

    • @NaturallyCurla
      @NaturallyCurla  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Laquanteya Nelson there is no bleach in that. The hi color has some bleach mixed in it already.

  • @laquanteyanelson8598

    what do i need

  • @laquanteyanelson8598
    @laquanteyanelson8598 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    so i jus need the dye right or do i need the developer too??

    • @NaturallyCurla
      @NaturallyCurla  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Laquanteya Nelson are you dyeing your hair for the first time? If so go to a professional. I had my hair bleach by a stylist first. In this tutorial I should have just touched up my roots with the developer. And did a color glaze on the rest. Which is conditioner mixed with semi permanent color to refresh the color. That's what I do now. I'm learning as I go!

      @oliviaburrell-jackson9280 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Naturally Curla I dyed my hair this exact color about 2 months ago and now the roots are black and the color has faded and looks like yours. I know I need to re dye the roots but don't want to use the l'oreal on my entire head. what glaze do you use to refresh the ends of your hair? I plan on touching it up this weekend.

      Naturally Curla is there a specific conditioner you got to use or any conditioner

  • @laquanteyanelson8598
    @laquanteyanelson8598 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    bt wen i wash the dye out how do i keep it separated from the other hair so the color will not get mixed up together wen im washing the dye out. do i wash one part first and the other part to keep the colors from changing differnt colors.

    • @NaturallyCurla
      @NaturallyCurla  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Laquanteya Nelson Well their kinda going to mix regardless because that's how I did it. Honestly if I were you. I would go to a professional. Don't do something and end up messing your hair up. Just show them the color you want. And boom.
