If you pay attention to D.Va's shooting animation when she has her pistol out, it's not an automatic pistol and she's actually rapidly pulling the trigger each time. She's using her Starcraft APM
Favorite way to use Dva's ult is to fly in the middle of them in an open area and actually just fight to keep the mech alive for as long as possible shooting at them (preferably taking out any shields) and then right when mech goes down you have a little time to still pop the ult in the animation. Since everyone is usually so close it usually gets a lot of people plus you have your mech back instantly even though they just destroyed it. Gets the most out of your mechs life and damage.
then you look at a place like paris where police cars get flipped and set on fire and cops get beat up by dumbass protesters (and isnt dva shooting the ENEMY team? >_> )

One thing I wished they changed with D.Va, is the speed you can change between shooting and defense matrix. It feels like it takes up to 5 seconds from the point when I release LMB and hold RMB to activate the defense matrix. They need to make that shit faster, mate! Maybe not THAT much faster, because then it would probably be a little too OP, but atleast make it so it happens when you press the button!
