This sermon helped me to “remind” God that he gave us Our Lady who crushes the head of the serpent. I asked through Our Lady that she would crush the demons during a powerful oppression, against myself and all those involved. I went to Mass with the same intention, and with the intention of using the power of the body and blood of Christ in offering for all those involved, and myself. The oppression broke, and my heart is now full of love! The Liber Christo Method, combined with other deliverance prayers of Fr. Ripperger and the Dolorans Fathers, along with the Seven Sorrows Rosary, also helped me reach the braking point. Thank you, Father, for the most candid sermon I’ve ever heard on these vices by realistically unpacking these emotions.

"21 Have I not hated them, O Lord, that hated thee: and pined away because of thine enemies?
22 I have hated them with a perfect hatred: and they are become enemies to me" - Psalms 138:21-22 DR
To add to the wonderful points made in this SSPX video, St Augustine and George Leo Haydock both comment on the above verses that David's hate was not in contradiction to Our Lord Jesus' command to love OUR enemies because above David hated those who hate God, not those who hated himself (David). Also, Aug and Haydock comment that David's object of hate was not the sinner (as in carnal hate) but rather the sin (righteous hate).
Personally, I definitely needed to hear this sermon, thank you SSPX. Im honoured to attend the SSPX parish in South Africa. God bless.

Resentment is also a passive and pernicious form of hatred that is dangerous because it clouds our thinking and behavior. It is dangerous because it is not as noticeable and identifiable as aggressive anger.

Late in life, Fr. Hardon, SJ., believed it all came down to Envy. This seems like what Father is saying about hating or hurting a good person who has not done anything to oneself. I am very impressed that this topic is being addressed at long last. It takes courage.

Good analysis of hatred. Thank you for the difference between the feelings of hatred. We must love the sinner hate the sin. Our Lord on the cross is our model.

The intensity of hatred can take on life of its own. I have known it several times throughout my 71 yrs. The final hatred, I had held against someone, scared the living daylight out of me. Why Almighty God gave me Grace to actually see the black form of hatred within me, I don't know, & didn't need to know, perhaps. Whenever I hear the word hate hatred or hates, etc used by anyone, I'm very ready to describe to them what exactly they are talking about. Never become nonchalant in using this word. Like I said hate really will take up a life of its own. God bless you all. CS Lewis wrote: "Second to the Blessed Sacrament the holiest object presented to your senses is your neighbor."

Why the Protestant ads, before and after the Catholic sermon??
    Ads are a choice.
There should be a holy Hatred of heretical ads here.
    Amen.

I keep forgiving over and over again. I give it to God. I let go. Then ... Eventually ... I'll see an image in my mind or get triggered to those memories and i am filled with hatred and rage and a desire to murder these people. I won't let myself think about how I'd do it. I did once and then i knew right away that was a dangerous thing to do.

I am a traditional Catholic and attend the TLM offered by diocesan priests. Unfortunately, most of the sermons I hear from the priests of the SSPX online are full of anger and hatred of the Novus Ordo and diocesan priests who celebrate the TLM, often questioning the validity of their ordination. Who died and make them God! It’s almost as if the priests of the SSPX have to justify their existence by condemning everyone else. Rarely do I hear a sermon on the epistle or gospel of the Mass . It’s all anger and hatred for anything that is not SSPX.
I refuse to attend a Mass offered by priests of the SSPX. Although they have faculties to hear confessions, and in some circumstances can witness a marriage with the permission of the local Bishop, the priests of the SSPX from the first moment of their ordination are suspended “ ad divinis” Therefore each time they illicitly celebrate Mass they committee mortal sin, and their Masses do not give glory to God because of their disobedience.

And yet, here you are listening to a SSPX priest giving a homily during Holy Sacrifice of the Mass? Also, I would suggest you search YT for SSPX Sermons, SSPX Asia has amazing homilies, as does all the ones I have listened to? God bless.
