I really like fervor on jax, i feel like it does a lot more in overall damage than thunderlords
It is in sustained duels, once you have a few as it is great, thunderlords is better for bursts and accompanied by bildgwater active it is op af.
just put thunderlords on and then Q W(thunderlord procs) and run away. do it when you have phage then you move faster away and then wait for the cd on thunderlord. You'll win almost every lane
thunderlords is better in lane for short bursty trades

Fiora just got oneshot by Jax.
well, first he hit the ward so he has 1 stack for his ult passive, he aa the guy and then q the guy very fast just as he hit his aa, then he instantly pressed w because that resets auto and hits an empowered auto, this results also in the ult passive proccing so more damage is dealt. And finally, somewhere in that time he also used his gunblade active. He just did is extremely fast that it looks like 1 move. Even me as a jax main was surprised how fast he did all that and also proccing for his ult passive by hitting ward.
@aleks knox umm yeah he used his gunblade active but that doesnt do that much dmg anyway, its because he did so attacks in a short span of time..
it does 250 + 30% Ap that's literally an extra ability that is alot of damage ...
ΩmG Gaming yeah but also something i forgot to mention was that his thunderlords decree must have also activated dealing 10-180(based on lvl) + 30%ad +10%ad.
Basically he did 2 x AA + W empowered + ult passive + Qdmg + gunblade + thunderlords.

I like the idea of building Jax this way in matches where you need to burst down enemy carries and don't need to grind through any tanks. Draven and Fiora both need deleting, so TL does the job.
It's really frustrating to play Fervor Jax against supports who build Frost Queen to apply an unavoidable slow and get kited out by the ADC before you can stack Fervor, since it needs 3~6 auto attacks to match the damage of TL depending on your build.

Lol I never build Gunblade on Jax. I know I should but I never do it. I just feel like it doesn't do as much as triforce into titanic hydra would. Plus the nerfs to gunblade even further this point... And when would you not run fervor on Jax?

When do you know to go gunblade or bork?
I get Bork first, then depending on the situation, Guinsoos or Mercurial Scimitar. From there you can just build recommended.
Generally get Bork for high-health champions such as Garen, Sion, Mundo, etc.
Go Bork against Tanks and Gunblade against everyone who isn't a tank and Trinity is Core.

Easy doesnt mean strong, I didnt see a single Jax game at World. Moreover, if played well Fiora should beat Jax early game fairly easily, she has the tool to counter everything Jax has. Her W counter Jax stun, her ult and passive negate the extra armor from Jax ult, her dash has shorter cool down. if played execellently she could beat Jax even at late game.
Thing is that he outplayed her w everytime. He moved a littled bit out of the range so that his stun from e came through. That is why this matchup is a skill-based matchup, even in lategame... :)
Alex K It's only skill base to an certain point, jax wins if he gets his e trough, fiora can use her w as counter BUT jax us the agressor he, can reactivate the w and reposition with q or an flash to change his location, fiora would have to predict that which is kinda unlikely due to her w radius and where jax could flash, which is more likely to be predictable , otherwise jax could disengage
So yes it is skill based BUT lategame favors jax

I thought it was best fiora top vs best jax top and I was like this is bullshit, but then I looked at the title and realized okay. The fiora kinda sucks though. Like the jax is good, but the fiora sucks.
Why do most of jax's play with w I play jax 5 seasons always used to play with w but I think playing with Q is better bcs It scales with ad and ap too and its cd can get really low for you to always jump on the enemy and win trades anyone can explain me why w is better while it scales only ap?

Tbh Sometimes he just ate damage for free and I realy dont know why, Fiora just came and dashed and hit him and he stood still ( 4:31 for example ). Could someone explain why he did this? I would of just hit her with a w or something.

He is controlling where the lane is gonna push in.
This isnt obvious to players from other regions because you can reach challenger in other regions without the knowledge of minion wave management.

I know... Not the point I was trying to make. I'm merely stating that she should know how to time her parry, because even if Jax moves out of the way and isn't effected by it, him moving out of her parry range still keeps her from being stunned from his stun. This Fiora's performance was beyond painful to watch, making the video unenjoyable for me, no thumbs.
Nicholas Thompson is right, if you're a jax player then you should know that there is an interval before jax can reactivate the E for stun..
Only if fiora does know that, he may be able to deflect the stun to jax..
Its not a bad idea waiting for that since as far as I know, while playing jax, there is a difference between jax reactivating the E than waiting for the E to reactivated itself..
1. The number of attacks he lunch that will give him a stacks of passive.
2. Fiora can run away to the E so that the jax won't be able to attack him to not have stacks any of his passive.
There's much more if you look into it very carefully.

I'm twitching looking at this fiora early game I would have gotten a kill on that jax she missed her parry to block a stun and missed tons of vitals. but probably late game id get shit on as it is a really good jax
