    I am in the process of making a Byzantine bracelet for my husband. But, after watching this wonderful tutorial... I think I may need to make a pair of earrings for myself first before going any further on his bracelet. Thanks for the inspiration! 😁

      @@AussieMaillers I did make these after all Deb, thanks to your great video - but found the 6mm bead I had was too big for 6mm so used 6.50 for the cage (no 6.25's)
      I love them - very much appreciate your teaching!

    Cute earrings! And I'd love to see how a whole Byzantine unit is made with the larger rings in the centre to capture the bead! I think that would also make a nice pair of earrings ... Do you have a video like that already!
    EDIT: I FOUND IT!! Love your channel, thank you!!!!!

    Hello Deb love learning from you!!! I watched the gryphon and you said someone had a vid to make a sheet if the gryphon. Would you send me a link for that video please

    • @AussieMaillers
      @AussieMaillers  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Scott. Glad you are enjoying the videos. The Gryphon sheet isn't a video, but there is this entry on Maille Artisans web site www.mailleartisans.org/weaves/weavedisplay.php?key=1276 as well as this variation www.mailleartisans.org/weaves/weavedisplay.php?key=1277 Hope that helps. Deb

    What material are you using

  • @sarahfields288

    Does the bead stay in place? So you cannot see the hole?

    • @AussieMaillers
      @AussieMaillers  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sarah they aren't held in place, so the possibility for the beads to move and the hole to be visible is there. Deb

      I know this is an old video, but I would very much like to make these earrings. I'm really struggling with the half byzantine part at the top. If anyone has any helpful suggestions, they'd be very much appreciated!

    its not very clear for beginners on what to do and where things go. You moved them around so many times that im not sure which ring you focus on! Your hand must show which ring you are working on. Please! in order for beginners to learn from you
