Jamie what do you know about Dr. Robinson's views on Donald Trump? If you have learned anything on the subject I would be curious to know about it. I can understand what the man's impulse would be on the question of marriage. He cites Burke, and says that he is conservative, with regard to changing institutions that have served reasonably well for millennia. So that would be a reason to hold to. Climate change is a different matter. For those that acknowledge it, it is a threat to the common wealth of all future generations.

And how has Trump treated those institutions over the last 1.5 years? Has he held a Burkean view of the judicial branch? Has his character been conservative in nature? Has he held to any concept of 'noblesse oblige'? How many of his inner circle are now felons? His CFO has turned against him. His personal lawyer has turned against him. Prof. Robinson should be ashamed of himself.
Jamie, you're a radical, and you've posted on nearly every one of Robinson's videos - you seem to be a little obsessed, so you may want to do yourself a favor, abide by the tenets of the Delphic temple, and 'know thyself'. There might be an issue with your own interpretations and perspectives.
A great man. I was very fortunate to know him as a colleague and mentor.
a brilliant lecture, rendered with such eloquence
Great Teacher, thanks for sharing
always talking about causes, and what they are, or do
Scientism rules.
1:07:36 What did he say there? Doesn't sound English. Genuinely curious to know what it was.
Sounds like he was making an example of being startled in German
Nope, that ain't German. I'd still like to know. But no one can ask him anymore because he died three months ago.
@@furtherback6131 I think it's Italian:
Patienza... Aspetta. As in: be patient, hang on (take it easy)
When Dr. Robinson endorsed Donald J. Trump, did he also endorse Trump's views on climate change?
