    Awesome review! This seems like such better value than the dessert party, and the view you had looked amazing! You mentioned in the video that you moved slightly outside of the preferred viewing area - do you have tips on where to stand to get the best view?
    Also, were you able to use the Grand Californian entrance from DCA to get to and from the restaurant for your reservation, and back to the park after?

      Usually the best views are anywhere near the front of that level/height. We moved a little outside because there were less people there. Closer you get you have potential to get wet. The dessert party has seating though, which is what that extra $ gets you!

    I just reserved at Storyteller's Cafe for Aug 27, 2022 and was really scared that it's not going to be worth it. Your review helped me alot. Thank you so much for the video.

    hi! How far in advance did you book this? and also, where? is there a specific place to book a reservation? this video is so helpful! thank you!

      I believe dining reservations are available 60 days in advance. We book directly with the Disneyland dining website, but I believe there are 3rd party websites like Mousewait that notify you when reservations are avaliable!

    I'm a little confused of how to do this. We are doing in Nov. so when we get into the park for California adventure, i such the virtual que for world of color, then make a reservation for the dining package and ask for voucher?

      There's 2 ways to get a world of color viewing area.
      1. Get into the park and get into the virtual queue on the app. No dining reservation needed.
      2. Get a dining reservation at any of the world of color dining packages (storytellers is one of them). You can make dining reservations 60 days in advance. You do not have to get in the virtual queue because you'll get a ticket to the viewing area with your dining package.

    Do you think it was worth it to secure a good view of Worlds Of Color? I'm going next summer to see it for the first time but the night that we'll be there is also grad night and DCA will be closing a little early and will only show WoC once for the general public. I'm worried we won't get a good spot..is it really worth the slurge to get that viewing spot? Or do you think we'll be okay without that. Before we found out about grad night we were planning to do the storybook character breakfast that day..ugh..planning stresses me 🤣🤦‍♀️

      The night we went actually only had one showing as well. For us it was worth it because 1. We didnt have to be inside the park by noon to get in the virtual queue and 2. We didnt have to physically wait in line to scramble for a good spot. People may line up early to get spots in the way front, but the preferred viewing area has several levels so kids can still get a good view. It being your first time, the dinning package may be worth your while!

      If you get the dining package you do not have to get in the virtual queue! you'll get a paper ticket to a separate viewing better :)

    So do they have limited amount of tickets for world of color? Or are you guaranteed a ticket by reserving the dining package at 5:00pm?

    • @HungryforAdventure
      @HungryforAdventure  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      As long as you get a reservation before 7 or so, I think it's guaranteed. They set the limit for the preferred viewing area by the number of reservations and walk ins they're able to take.
