The V8 sound difference is due to the crank, crossplane vs flatplane and the firing order. However Ferrari does spend lot of research on their sound.

Wah all brands under FIAT is like that 1 ah? 147/159 also very jerky on automode. I always end up using manual mode, is much smoother even in Traffic jam...So since you want to have a difficult gear box to drive...Alfa Romeo is the best bet hahaha, but sounds glorious..but you can go for Ferrari or Maserati, GO FOR IT!
