Thanks for mentioning that.🙂 I sincerely need sexism pointed out to me often because it was so ingrained from an early age. Even the best of hearts can't know what they don't know. Or in other words, it really is good that we don't live forever because old, ignorant, hateful ideas might never fade into history. 🙂

@@drwoo6090 I gave my opinion on the subject of this video, who happens to be a woman. If the subject of the video had been a man flitting from one woman to the next with no morals and no loyalty I would have written the exact same thing. It’s very unfair the way men are constantly being attacked these days, unless they are lgbt of course. There are plenty of good, straight men who don’t cheat, in fact I’m married to one.

The only thing I could criticise her for is leaving her kids to other care givers while she was away doing whatever. Then I find myself thinking, what about Tyrone Powers, was he an engaged dad? I doubt it. I doubt also that he and all the men associated with Hollywood and beyond who were considered root rats; their morals never coming into question, nor would they be described in such pejorative terms as the narrator has just described Linda Christian.
Furthermore, she had nothing to do with that racing car driver smashing into spectators, killing himself, his navigator and all those innocent victims; it was the lack of safety measures that caused that catastrophe.

That's just the way the English language 'rolls' lots of words spelt in a similar fashion are pronounced differently - plus, Tina is often (and originally) the shortened form of Christina...which is definitely _not_ pronounced with a 'long i' - so, _not_ _Chris_T-eye-na, but definitely _Chris_T-een-a, hence, Teen-a, & _not_ Tie-na.

Not so with the narrator's shocking mistake of pronouncing it the "ANALS" of history!😂😂😂 English pronunciation is varied and unreliable. The vowel sounds in English are all dipthongs, whereas in other European languages they are standard, with a slight variation on the "open" e and o. The study of phonetics refines the ear to the subtleties of sound.

Apparently, neither did British author Enid Blyton ("have time for her children") Apparently her interest in children - not the _bad_ kind of 'interest in children', but as a _mother_ - was mostly in the _many_ , *many* stories she wrote about groups of 'adventuring children'...
Julian, Dick Anne and their cousin George (Georgina) and George's dog, Timmy, aka "The Famous Five",
plus "The Adventures of..." with Philip, his sister Dinah, and their friends (& later, adopted siblings) Jack, his parrot: 'Kiki' and Jack's sister Lucy-Ann.... (The latter sets of books being _my personal_ favourite) Plus - though I rarely read them and do not recall their names.
      "The Secret Seven" ...
Enid was a prolific writer _of_ children's stories, _for_ children, but in so doing - according to her own children - had very little time to devote to her own 'flesh 'n' blood' children, which they very much resented, (unsurprisingly).
I loved most of the Enid Blyton stories, particularly 'The Adventures'...and
'The Famous Five', but felt sad (when I found out through a TV documentary of her life, when I became an adult plus a mum, myself) for her children ...but I guess that's often how life goes, _if_ one's hobby or career takes over...😢

Most people do not consider the American television version of "Casino Royale" to be "Official" -- it was an hour-long TV drama, in which Bond was changed into an American CIA agent, for one thing. For another the EON Productions Bond films are considered the Official Bond films. ANNals, not ANals... TOTALLY different.

'What ..... wants - ... gets' is something that has been also said about that person too, but in that instance, it concerned a tiara. You have to be a real piece of goods to walk all over people for your own gain. Maybe it is Hollywood that makes people like this, or maybe it is simply their own cold and grasping nature. Did she ever genuinely love anyone? Who knows! In the end, she got what she deserved. Fleets of taxis sounding their horns, people bearing placards with 'Linda go home' Perfect! . It came back to bite her. I think that most men found her captivating and extremely beautiful but once they got to know her fully I suspect most of them realised that her beauty truly was only skin deep. #1 suggestion to the Narrator here would be to reevaluate the OVERUSE of cutesy terms and set ups. One or two is Ok, but every other line just reeks of a lack of true understanding of storytelling. And another IMPORTANT NOTE, when speaking of the characters in your story’s , it would behoove you to pronounce their names PROPERLY. It’s really hard to follow or subscribe to a story, channel or both when the person telling the story seems almost like you’re reading a second grade play. My sincere apologies Mate, but your lack of experience in this takes away from the most important part …..THE CHARACTERS. YOU NEED A GREAT DEAL OF PRACTICE AT STORYTELLING, AND VERBAL GRAMMATICAL BUILDING BLOCKS.

I think you are being overgenerous in your assessment of Linda Christian’s career. She is largely forgotten as an actress and she is certainly not a cherished figure in cinema. It seems that virtually anyone can be referred to as some kind of legend today. I am not trying to be unkind, just realistic. Thunderstorm is actually a very good British film that wasn’t particularly successful on its release but it’s well worth a look largely for the performance of Charles Korvin but Linda Christian looks gorgeous and is highly effective in the role of a mysterious beauty who is doomed to inspire passion in men and suffer misery as a consequence. Maybe if Ms Christian had worked harder on her acting and pursued fewer rich men she would have been a really good actress

I wish the Queen, Defender of the Faith, was still in the land of the living, from respect for her I think we would have been spared scenes on TV of the horrible protests against anyone white and the awful scenes of police closing in on celebrants carrying the St George’s flag, a symbol of the risen Christ so definitely a Christian symbol as well as a national emblem, when other religions were displaying their flags was frightening. There was symbolism in the two injured, serving, horses, running frantic, through London streets. Where will it end?
