Here were are again. Another outer wilds playthrough. As ones who have have journeyed through the outer wilds. We are doomed to only observer other travelers.
Just a stupid observation on my part but the names of the characters on my home planet are based on rocks and minerals (slate, mica, feldspar, hornsfel, etc).
yes they are, and the nomai are plants, it's worth whatch the outer wilds documentary on youtube after finishing all that the game has to offer. don't watch until you beat the game
I have watched *so* many playthroughs of this. I can honestly say that you're the *only* person who has died *twice* before the sun has a chance to explode.
love how you thought anglerfish were just a runescape thing, then said monkfish was just an rs thing too lmao, they're def real, I ate it here in South Korea
28:24 - Heyo, Hatchling! Glad to see you have joined the ranks of Those Who Know. You will be forever doomed to watch everyone else’s playthroughs to vicariously live through their sense of wonder! It’s not that bad, I promise. As science games go, OW has done a great job to use ACTUAL science and math in its creation and presentation: the planets are governed by the same non-linear differential equations that we use for modeling the planets in real life; the note about the galaxies is a picture of the Hubble Deep Field image; the note about galaxies moving away from us is true, as well. The bit about Quantum Objects is fanciful, but it’s most people’s understanding of the “pop sci-fi” version of quantum objects. I will post timestamped color commentary about nonspoilery stuff, and occasionally snarky comments about how much I sucked during my runs, so you don’t feel bad.
1:04:14 - In real life, that’s a jug. Andrew Prahlo, the conductor, used several pieces typically found in Bluegrass music to give the distinctive sound that OW’s music has. Whereas Bluegrass shares a banjo, jug, harmonica, and “voice” (whistling, here) with OW, Bluegrass also typically has the mouth harp and washboard. Prahlo opted for drums and [REDACTED].
2:09:28 - Same *momentum*, not necessarily same speed. You would have to throw the same mass of rope as mass you have attached to your body to travel at the same speed.
I just realized that the name "anglerfish" only makes sense to me because im german. In german fishing is called angeln and an anglerfish is literally a fish that angels. Now I know why non germans are always forget what their called.
this video just got recommended to me, and man what a game, i remember playing it and being impressed by the creativity behind the planets, didnt find this kind of creativity in any other space game
Ive played outer worlds ive never heard of this game unless its the first title to the series or something but it oddly hase a similar game front im pretty sure
@@fluttenvodsglad to hear that! I had never been into Elden Ring, but watching your play through has gotten me invested in the characters and lore! I'll look forward to the upload (:
23:25 fun fact - that's not scripted. The games physics engine is making that happen. It literally is because the attlerock flew overhead at that moment.
I waited decades for her to finish the Elden Ring playthrough because she said she was going to play Morrowind after that and also because I have not played Elden Ring yet either and did not want to get spoiled, but I guess plans do be changing. Will be back for the Morrowind playthrough someday, hopefully. Hope you enjoy Outer Wilds.
this is gonna sound weird af but I like your voice, it fits your face very well, love the intonations in your voice, sounds unique idk, everyone else sounds the same so this was a nice change

Can't help myself.
Those burdened with knowledge have been summoned.
Gossan: Please don't die in space, I've spent all this time training you.
Flutten: _falls off a cliff and dies before even making it to space_
love the half second of eye contact at the start followed by look everywhere else lol. now i know how it looks when i do it to other people
lmaoo eye contact is simply not my strong suit
Just a stupid observation on my part but the names of the characters on my home planet are based on rocks and minerals (slate, mica, feldspar, hornsfel, etc).

24:25 I think the reason they call it spooky is a reference to “spooky action at a distance”
I don't think I ever caught that
3:03:31 that anglerfish is going to be real surprised when the reactor blows lol
I have watched *so* many playthroughs of this. I can honestly say that you're the *only* person who has died *twice* before the sun has a chance to explode.
This may be the first time I've seen it fully onscreen and still go unnoticed LMAO Very fun playthrough so far!
yeep, this game is not an average "I'll take you by your hand" gaming experience. i hope more games like this will be released in the near future
I heard the developers were originally torn over what to call Dark Bramble. They originally wanted to call it Fish Planet.
really hope you'll play the dlc btw, game is a 10/10 and somehow the dlc managed to be a 10/10 as well, I'd say it's very worth playing
Yeah, honestly, between the DLC and the base game, it's an excellent way to spend 40 hours.
I was surprised the DLC was so good after the base game shot my expectations through the roof. They really delivered
Addicted to watching other people play through blind! Good luck on your journey 🙏
Those anglerfish really do be spooky though
Fly safe, little hatchling. Time buddy. Traveler.
Nice start... keep on going! :-D
No way, osrs creator doing outer wilds!! My favorite game ever, it changed my outlook on life. Be curious on your journey ::)

2:15:37 almost fell into hollow's lantern, didn't even notice hahah

1:08:07 - Welp. *side-eyes all of the other OW players*
1:16:40 - About 20-30 hrs for each part of the game: Main & DLC.
2:09:28 - Same *momentum*, not necessarily same speed. You would have to throw the same mass of rope as mass you have attached to your body to travel at the same speed.

In English, an angler is another word for someone who fishes, too :)
@ZombieMatt2 You know what, I dumb. I watched the dredge video from womble after this and he said angle... I dumb.

Will the rest of the Elden Ring vods be uploaded?
yes :) i think i might upload them as one big video instead of individually though
@@fluttenvodsglad to hear that! I had never been into Elden Ring, but watching your play through has gotten me invested in the characters and lore! I'll look forward to the upload (:
Hell yeah
i'm really enjoying watching you go through it all. Legit question, isn't people spoiling it in the comments while you play? It concerns me.

That music timing though

Yes the sun should boil your eyes. Game is ruined without eye boiling.
Classic LULE
