Small note: Phobia's evasion loss doesn't matter against peck. If you blind the enemy peck will still always miss because evasion and accuracy are calculated separately. As long as you enter the fight prepared, nothing on the zoophobia list should be able to take advantage of fear.

I feel like "erotophobia" is more of a "that mf just pulled his cock out i'm scared" than a fear of sex itself.

Erotophobia is a fear of things related to sex, while Genophobia is the fear of sex itself. So Cahara having erotophobia is kind of like if he was scared of phallic objects and things that can relate back to sex, but isn't opposed to the act of sex itself.
Cahara probably just pretends to have erotophobia so more enemies hit on him

Rhabdophobia is supposed to be the fear of rods or being beaten by rods, however one quick google search says it has a second meaning, which is the fear of wands or magick; So that means when you have Rhabophobia you're supposed to take more damage from spells/magical attacks.
theoretically yes, but phobia only affects physical hit attacks, and magic is either certain hit or magical hit

Ser Seymour having Erotophobia might be because he was made using the prison guard's base template? Whenever you enter battle with him, the flavor text on the bottom left is the exact same as when you encounter a guard. Maybe that copied over as well, and our beloved Pastamancer forgot to remove it. Similar deal with the Greater Blights, since the lesser ones likely use a Crow Mauler template for Peck.
At this point i guess we should rename the game to "and hunger"

Got a few points I wanna share considering the phobias are a very underused mechanic that are just simplified to debuffs against certain enemies that dont even matter much after moving to certain areas.
- Rhabdophobia could've been an accuracy debuff when using magic since, well, it is a FEAR OF MAGIC so it would def freak someone who is afraid of magic to, well, use magic
- Teratophobia could've also had effect on your party members if you either had a Marriage/Abominable Marriage and/or Blood Golem in your party. Same for Necrophobia with Skeletons & Ghouls.
That being said all of characters, considering their backgrounds, should be either immune or prone to develop certain phobias.
Cahara should be immune to ever have Erotophobia since, well, its Cahara we're talking about.
D'arce could be immune to Zoophobia & Teratophobia since she is an experienced knight who fought quite a few battles.
Enki would have immunity to certain phobias depending on his path, besides being immune to Rhabdophobia since he IS a Dark Priest. Insect Enki would be immune to Zoophobia while Necromancer Enki would be immune to Necrophobia respectively.
And this is where Ragnvaldr would shine, as a compensation for his awful starting kit & abilities. Immune to Zoophobia since he's a hunter, immune to Erotophobia since he had a wife & kid & immune to Teratophobia & Necrophobia since his whole plan is to kill every single thing in the dungeon.
Probably wont stop Jones naming Rag Moe Ron, but eh it would still be something.

Well, if you consider such mechanics without jokes. the ability to create a special Marriage depending on the *philia of the hero. a little creepiness in a pedophile, a furry in a zoophile, a ghoul in a necrophile, and so on. this would be a really interesting mechanic in the vein of Fear and Hunger.

panophobia is the fear of everything
phasmophobia is the fear of ghosts
necrophobia is the fear of death or dead bodies
erotophobia is the fear of an object, person or act related to sex
zoophobia is the fear of animals
teratophobia is the fear of monsters (why is ser seymour included for this?)
rhabdophobia is the fear of being severely punished or beaten

I like how in my first playthrough as Cahara I found a lucky Black Orb scroll and Greater Hurting (became my bread and butter throughout the playthrough), but my character had Rhabdophobia (fear of magic) XD

Is there a way to change phobias? For example, change Erotophobia to Rhabdophobia? Can they be changed with cheats or with an emulator like Joiplay?

Some of these are insane. Why is the ser Seymour erotic, how are yellow mages and dark priests not causing rhabdophobia (fear of magic), how is miner SPECTRE not causing phasmophobia?!

For Ser Seymor it seems Miro used a guard as a base for the enemy and forgot to change the phobias. For the others "I forgot" seems like the most plausible explanation. Not sure about the greater blight though, that one is strange.
Do it again for the second game (or suggest it to the others)!
When I try some challenge, I found that tormented one cause Teratophobia too and crushed my nuts with revolution tears.
And Francóis have the same phobias as a guard (and same item pool for steal), but when he coinflips you, he becomes a new entity.
Rhabdophobia is inflicted by Priest, Yellow mage, Black Witch, but I dont know if priest lamp, or witch dagger are certain hit or physical ( maybe cause of that, y say thats no enemy can inflict that, cause it dont affect the fight in any way )
Do y know how evasion calculates? For example if we have butterfly soul (+50%) and phobia(-50%), does it caclutes just 50-50 =0 or (our current evasion) 50 - 50% = 25 ?

priest, yellow mage, black witch, valtiel, and everything else that inflicts rhabdophobia don't have physical hit type attacks, and therefore rhabdophobia has no effect
evasion buffs and debuffs are additive. defense stance and phobia negate each other
