Did you watch the entire story high on the "little less quality"? It seems like you just started smoking in the last few months. Street weed has changed and for the worst. People are selling complete poison on the streets now vs the real weed that use to be worth it. Now it's worth it to buy it from dispensaries vs the street. Last year was the last I will ever buy off the street... It look like weed smell like weed but the experience is an out of body one. People will let you die LITERALLY just to make a few dollars. As this story proved street weed cannot be trusted.

FYI when you buy from a dispensary and you are told its a certain % THC you don't really know what your exact product is. The samples that are tested are often the cream of the crop and there is variance in strength amongst the other buds that are being sold.
Smelling the terp profile is how I judge it. If I can't smell it first, then I don't want it.

FYI in Legal testing a tester comes to the facility and takes a % of the total weight of that specific batch. If it is in 2 bins for example they will grab nugs from both bins in different places of the bin. Maybe your state is different? People that go through the trouble to follow the rules generally don't like the people who make everybody else look bad by cutting corners . For instance , the street "burrito lady" business where I live has the same problem. The law says that if you're preparing food for sale , the kitchen has to be separate from your home and you must be inspected regularly and obviously pay your taxes . You have the legit burrito ladies that go by the law and have been around for decades that serve a quality product , and then you have these fly-by-night hustlers that pop up who need a quick buck making a hundred burritos at a time out of their roach infested home . The only way that they sell any is because they don't do any of the things necessary to ensure that they're selling a safe product and they can use that to charge just enough less to look appealing .
