I eventually managed to stop him from doing it by writing out riffs for him with the same fantastic disregard for what the instrument and person playing it can actually do that he brought to the drums. He tried to play the riffs, the pain was visible in his eyes, and he left the drum parts to me from then on...
IT'S very nice to see the human side of a drummer in studio, most of people think all go ok, but here is the reallity, to much effort and error for record..... that's make to you big person for show us that....

BadgerBoeh the thing Ive learned is that swivel isn’t for everyone. It’s all about what is the most comfortable for you. Ik ken bendene said that he saw that when he would play fast double bass he noticed his leg would sort of flick out to the side a little. Basically what I’m saying is play what technique you are comfortable with and work on getting better at that. Someone elses technique won’t always work for you

I really wanna learn the swivel technique but my right foot keeps wobbling too much, it doesnt stay on the pedal at all, or doesnt swivel.
