As sad as the Overwatch cinematics are they are also so hopeful sometimes. Mei, Winston, and even this one, are so hopeful in the end, with themes of Duty, Hope, and the importance of stepping up simply to do it. I'd pay all the money for a damn Overwatch movie or story mode though.

I think this animated shorts are showing how every character reacted to Winston's recall. Mei, for example, is going to help, at the same time we see Tracer answering Winston inmadietely (Recall short), Soldier 76 maybe trying to be the hero he was once (Hero short) and Reinhardt here saying that he will always be with Overwatch and in this cinematic too we know that Torbjorn didn't answer the call (His daughter is the woman in this short, just look at her tattoo). Maybe they will make a movie after all of them are released with I don't know, Overwatch vs Talon (Doomfist, Widowmaker, Reaper, now Moira, etc) theme or something like that. Side note: I don't know if you guys know but the map featured in the cinematic is "Eichenwald" and if you are the attacking team and reach the end Reinhardt's master is there at the throne.

The girl talking to Reinhardt is one of Torb's children. 3. Reinhardt was never selected to join Overwatch. It was Balderich. Reinhardt took his place after he died. 4. Balderich is still on the throne in Eichenwalde. This short reveals how he got there. 5. Reinhardt has a voice line, "I must recover my master's armor." This short reveals why he has to do that. 6. He has another voice line that we hear in this short, "Barrier is failing." 7. We get to see more of the Omnic Crisis & watch a young, cocky Reinhardt learn what it means to be a team player. (Which is what Rein players need to learn & not charge into the enemy team recklessly) ;) 8. The big bot that dropped from the sky was an OR-14 the predecessor to the OR-15s one of whom is Orisa. 9. We see how Reinhardt lost his eye & got the scar.
