I picked up 4 titles over the Black Friday weekend: The Exorcist 4K ($14.99), X Blu-ray ($5.99), Scream (2022) 4K ($7.99) and Reservoir Dogs 4K ($9.99) picked them all up at Best Buy, overall, there weren't many amazing deals but I'm happy with my pickups! Y'all both got some awesome pics as well!!
THE STAND is a great book to cozy up with in a month like January when not a lot is happening! I also really enjoyed the more recent TV adaptation that came out in 2021 (right after the pandemic started, it felt positively prophetic), def recommend it.
I always love your vlog videos and physical media hauls. Nice to see a video with your dad tagging along for Black Friday shopping, too! You both are great together and you can see the family love between you two as a father-daughter duo. Great hauls!
If your father hasn't seen much of Michael Fassbender he should definitely watch the prequels of Alien, Prometheus and Covenant. They're flawed but entertaining and Fassbender acting as an android there is excellent

I'm so happy when you showed The Batman as I also just love that movie. It's definitely my favorite of DC's live action movies as I don't really care much for their live action stuff and more for their animated stuff. Your dad is right about fastbender regarding racing, he has been racing since 2017 I think and has taken part in the 24 hours of lemans a few times, also he was great in the X-Men movies.

It is very sad and upsetting to me about the demise of physical media and I think that is a huge mistake on the part of the retailers. I don't like the idea of watching a movie online or paying for a movie and only being able to watch it online. I love having the physical DVD in my hand and I love having a dvd collection. It’s funny, Black Friday was kind of a bust, but my local library sells blu-rays for 50 cents year round. The day after Black Friday I got 7 blu-rays for $3.50 (Mission: Impossible 1-3, 3 film Jet Li collection, and Face/Off)
I borrowed Violent Night from my library last night, solid cast so we'll see! Great pickup Matt, Reservoir Dogs is a great film! It was definitely groundbreaking at the time along with Pulp Fiction.. I love all of his films besides Inglorious Basterds, just can't get invested in it, but his entire filmography is pretty much must see.. Kylie I will never stop saying that you will love Kill Bill lol, it's the one Tarantino film that I can pretty much guarantee that you'd love.. I think you'd really like Death Proof too for the most part..

I did start looking at special collections from online companies. I have ordered the Conan Chronicles from Arrow. It comes out January 30. It’s nice I have a video store that has used media. So I get some good deals there. Also I have a company (Redbox) that have machines out side of some stores. They sell off used disks in the machines for 3.99 to 5.99 when they have been rented for a time. It’s just the disk, so I buy slim cases and make my own cover. One again, sadly not many deals this year for Black Friday. 🤨

Never read The Stand but I've seen the 1994 miniseries and the 2021 miniseries. Still prefer the 94 version. Ad Astra was underrated. Reservoir Dogs is great. Assassin's Creed was okay at best and I loved The Last of Us. Solid haul, Kylie and Matt.
