- The Kansas City Royals released renderings of its two final stadium sites: the East Village in downtown Kansas City or North Kansas City. More on FOX4: trib.al/QaJsIbI
The reason it's taking so long for politicians and business interests in Kansas City to come to a conclusion on the new ballpark is because they all had to come to agreements on who and how much kickbacks and payoffs each perp was to acquire of taxpayers dollars, after the bankers slapped their oppressive debt to the equation, onto this not needed project. Business as usual continues in Kansas City, Jackson County, and the U.S.A.
Kauffman Stadium is perfectly fine. The new ownership group wants a shiny new stadium and will not invest to improve the team. Larger markets can get away with this, small markets --- not so much. It's not the 70s or 80s, and the Royals aren't that important to KC anymore. Tell them to pound sand and finance their own stadium, or just move.
Many studies have shown that major league baseball and football franchises end up costing and charging the people in those communities more $'s than they bring into those communities/cities. I say kick them out with the middle finger held high.

I would recommend you don’t give away any sports teams that offer entertainment. KC doesn’t offer a lot and doesn’t need to lose what it has

NKC going to see a bunch of people moving out of the area, not that they aren't already, but you put a new Royals stadium up here, nobody wants to watch a clown ball team and more importantly, nobody will want to pay the ridiculous tax that will be forced on residents

If the Royals want a new Stadium the owner can build it himself. Take out a loan.
No public money will be spent.
The new stadium will last till 2040 then will be demolished.

They can have them up north... most people in Jackson County are tired of their crap and only getting terrible baseball in return... they can have that dumb tax too.
Nah we don't want the Royals or a stadium up here either. Maybe just get rid of the team in general will solve all our problems 😂
