I don't think it's "hugely damaging" to the RF. Harry is the one who truly looks bad. William is a hero for standing up for the palace employees and clocking Harry in the face. Ironically, because of Harry's book, Prince William has even more admiration now than ever before. Sorry Harry, it backfired. Prince William rocks!!

William had to deal with his mother when she was using him as a therapist, then after her death he had to grow faster and be there for his brother and be a king potential to make the queen happy , but never once he asked for the public sympathy, and he can’t even defend himself against his own and only brother . If Harry immediately contacted his therapist after the claimed assault by William, that means he had a therapist whom he could have immediately contacted when Meghan "Didn't want to live anymore." He needs to keep his fantasies straight.

It is not damaging as Harry has made a laughing stock of himself. The image of William breaking Harry’s knecklace and making him fall onto a dog bowl has kept many of us laughing all day. The last fight between William and Harold was in 1066 and Harold lost.

The fact that harry actually counted the people he killed is disturbing, it's as if he's proud of it. I have met and am related to veterans of different generations and not one of them could tell how many people they killed in combat, they don't even want to talk about the wars they fought in. The more harry shows his true colors, the more disturbing he is. I feel sorry for the royal family for having to put up with him and hide his true nature for so long, it must be somewhat of a relief to them they no longer need to anymore.

What Harry omits is that William was angry after Jason Knauf gave him a file of employee complaints of bullying. W tried to discuss this on the phone but Harry hung up on him. So he went over to the cottage.

I highly doubt "bullying" the staff, if you want to call it that, was enough to make the brothers physically fight. I'd venture the issue between them is probably complicated, longstanding, and includes a number of personal factors.

I kind of get the vibe that Meghan was bullying Kate when no one else was around, and William found out and was protecting his wife. Those three used to be so close, I refuse to believe that Kate and William were suddenly these bullies to him for no reason. They were close to his ex-girlfriend, so it isn’t about him being with someone, it’s specific to Meghan.
Fast forward 5 years or so and I predict we'll be discussing another best-selling book, this time from Meghan about the divorce, how difficult Harry was to live with and how the Royal family ultimately brought an end to her marriage. It didn't help Harry at all to reveal the altercation because it validates what most of us suspected....that Meghan Markle was rude and abrasive to Kate Middleton. Not only did Prince William admonished MM but the Queen did as well for treating staff rudely, around the time of her wedding. Harry thinks it makes us more sympathetic but in actuality solidifies the fact that he is completely untrustworthy and his wife was difficult form the beginning. She brings drama and trouble wherever she goes. Its amazing how one person like Meghan Markle can cause so much chaos when enabled with money and status

It's ironic that when King Charles was interviewed when Harry was in Afghanistan (as Harry had requested to be I read), Charles was very, very anxious and worried about his son. I think he said he was worried sick and could not sleep. He only felt better when he came home safe, like the families of the other soldiers feel. Harry's lack of gratitude for EVERYTHING including what his father and his brother and the Queen have done for him is egregious. Meghan is the same exactly with her father who was very generous to her, more than to her half-siblings no doubt. . Her sister babysat her when she was young, which is never an easy job when she probably didn't feel very well. She and her brother didn't seem to begrudge the spoiling of Meghan.
And no one brings up her possible 1st child with 1st husband. No body bring up the yacht girl...

My youngest son lost his father when he was only 14. I don't remember hugging him, but we had family around and were having the compulsory cuppa. I have many pictures hugging him, and the hugs for it came later, but it was a somber occasion. In the shock of the moment you don't automatically hug, you offer reassurance and explain what has happened. Maybe it's cultural, but I have no doubt that harry had many hugs from his father in the ensuing days.
My children were 3, 7 and 9. I can't even remember how I told them. I probably didn't hug right away, I was in shock and only my oldest understood what it meant. Charles was in shock, Harry has no understanding of other peoples emotions .
