- Prince Harry has 'POISON in his blood’: Royal experts discuss Harry's new book | Palace Confidential. After months of speculation, reports from the US this week suggest that Prince Harry’s controversial autobiography will come out later this year and his former biographer says the family need to prepare themselves for a series of shocks. Angela Levin, who wrote Harry: Conversations with the Prince, says that after giving him a multi-million pound advance, publishers Penguin Random House will ‘want a story’ and Harry will be ready to give them one. ‘He’s now so bitter and resentful that he will say what he really feels and see things that he accepted years ago as now being really dreadful,’ she tells our royal talk show Palace Confidential. ‘I think he really wants to show his power over William because he was fed up with being the spare rather than the heir - I think he’s got a lot of poison in his blood now about what he feels about his background and his family.’
Levin’s fellow panellist, veteran royal writer Robert Jobson, agrees that the impact will likely be ‘huge’ in the UK.

If he admits to hard core drug use, that will be a big deal. He’s already alluded to it. He’s stated he’s used drugs & booze to mask his pain but if he’s specific, that’ll be a story. Here in the United States, we don’t ordinarily give visas to people who’ve got substance abuse & mental health problems. So far, Harry has skated by under the radar. That could change with a different person in the White House. The other big story would be if he admits his rage at Diana for shipping him off to boarding school while she chased various men from Blighty to the Middle East and back again. IMO, that’s part of why he can’t get over his grief. He’s not being honest about his feelings there.
Most People are shock-proof with this California Couple ! They have thrown everything at us, including the kitchen sink ! Best not to buy Harry's book at all, and boycott it completely ! Buy Tom Bower's book "Revenge" instead !

Harry never really knew Meghan before he proposed. They had been dating long distance for only a year before she moved to the UK. He quickly proposed to her three months later. William was right to recommend that he take some time before he proposed.
Charles and Diana only ever met 13 times before he proposed and that certainly was a disaster!
They all recommended him to take his time but meghain rushed i t as she couldn't keep up the love bombing. As the Late great Prince Phillip said we date actresses we don't marry them.'

A prince who went to the best school and does even help the poor, sick, those who are hungry, solve the oil or fuel crisis, pay their bills. What good is it being a PRINCE. I think we all know that in his book, Harry will:
1. Canonize Diana
2. Vilify Charles
3. Blame Camilla for everything that has ever gone wrong in the world
4. Criticize William, who committed the great crime of being the first born and 5. Throw Catherine under the bus, regardless of the extremely close relationship he used to have with his brother and sister-in-law.
He will do everything he can to try to make people hate the monarchy.
I think the man Harry has become is a pathetic and miserable who will do anything for money.
I really hope the palace has its lawyers ready for his book because they cannot allow the lies he'll tell to stand with a "recollections may vary" statement.

As a American. I look at Harry as a total disgrace. To publicly attack your own family in the most personal ways, I feel is unforgivable. If I were to forgive, I’d definitely keep them away from me and my family. He has gone way too far with over exposing his mother for financial gain, growing up I thought I’d never get tired of hearing or seeing shows with her in it but at this point I am tired of seeing & hearing all the complaining of Harry & Meghan. He’s not nice, I believe he could have been, I think Diana, if she had still been here, would have realised and had a word.

I'm an American Royal watcher, great interview. I find the Harry and Meghan Show increasingly more and offensive and annoying. And I have really come to like Camilla. She's been humble and gracious, fulfilling Royal duties without seeking attention and adulation. She's likable and an asset to the Monarchy imo.
I agree, she seems down to earth, and respectful of others. She is NOT a gossiper or a complainer.
Camilla is probably secretly glad for the attention being taken off of her by the Harkels. Now, all she has to do is to be nice and quietly watch the show that takes the attention off of her as they destroy themselves.
What is exactly so offensive and annoying about them? They have not really spoken since the Oprah interview! The media always hid the truth about Diana and the Royal Family never commented but over the ears the truth about her affairs, her lies and her mental illness has emerged. I don't blame Camilla now because I truly believe that Diana was spiteful and VERY difficult to live with.

YES! This gives me hope. I was beginning to wonder if his book was going to materialize. But I will definitely read it. The Tina Brown one was such a disappointment, taking EVERY MM story at face value, not questioning one thing they have done. Lazy, sloppy quasi-journalism, and also boring. Do anything, but don't bore me! I actually returned the book to Amazon.

I am the same age as Camilla and exhausted at the thought of her future duties! I feel she has a down to earth common sense, and aware of her duties to come, clever, loyal, and certainly has won the Queens admiration, which I have great respect for. If the history of your live has been faultless then lucky you?

I think one of two things will happen. Either the book won't come out at all (i. e. they'll be consistent with never fulfilling ANY of their contractual obligations: Netflix, Spotify, Random House, P & G, and God knows what else), or the RF will see that it's watered down. They're pretty powerful and no doubt DO have the power to do that. I do not see either a date or a title for this "book". I've published three books and was in the book reviewing field for 25 years, so I know how these guys operate! To REALLY get the public interested, you need at least a "working title" (almost universal in publishing) and a firm date, which I have never seen. Firm dates CAN be changed, but it's a psychological thing. But I honestly think it'll just fizzle because neither of them has a work ethic, they are DEADBEATS, lazy, dishonest, and completely untalented. If H DOES attack Camilla, I think she and everyone else will laugh it off. How credible is H? How credible is Camilla? No contest! And she actually DOES things, she does the WORK, honors ALL her commitments, and actually works tirelessly with no real glory, nor does she want it.

I don't know if you follow The Behaviour Panel, but they did a very good analysis of H's interview with Hoda Kotb, and concluded "he's a twelve-year-old boy". He has the restless, squirmy energy of a kid who doesn't want to be there. Hoda Kotb smiled continuously through the whole interview, more of a grimace actually, and one of them said "so what's up with her facial expressions? They're very strange." Really, the emperor has no clothes, and a lot of people can see it, but there are powerful machinations going on behind the scenes, and it has all gotten so muddled we don't know WHAT is going on. How many times have we heard "this is a rock-solid, reliable source", only to have the story proven totally false and planted by Sunshine Sachs. I am starting to think that NO one is above bribery and threats.

@@janieleishman9130 It's because there will be an American edition (US spelling etc) and a UK edition. Because Tom is a British author whose publisher is British, our edn is coming out first. The American one will be on its way - perhaps licensed to an American publisher if Tom's publisher doesn't have a US branch.
