Out 3140 chewed a bit out of the O ring.
Replaced it, and it did the same again in 4 or 5 hours use.
The crank in the "rock shaft" comes up against the back of the housing, which limits the amount the piston can come out.
    With wear, this increasrs6.
We got a machine shop to machine a new groove an inch further back on the piston.
    Never give any further trouble.

There is a cancelling kit to help with that that came out on the later tractors, I have seen a pad welded inside the lift cover housing to stop that as well. It is best not to drive with the arms fully up when disking etc keep them down a little helps with wear.

Hello, thank you for answering my question, what is the pressure of the middle pump inside the Jandir 2130 gearbox?

Mine valve caps didn’t have o-ring or backup at all! Uplifting and lowering, it was just nothing, how is that possible? They disappeared or someone forget to install?

Yes I have seen them like that, it will be way better when you fit them.

Hello, I have a John Deere 1640 tractor. I have problems with the lifting system. I can't find a neutral position. I tried to adjust the valve play, I increased, I decreased, I can't keep the machine at a constant desired height. Please help me.

Turn the adjusting screw clockwise but make sure you are in position control which may be marked as min draft.

@@BundyBearsShed What you mean by that: you are in position control?

@@BundyBearsShed I took off my rockshaft because it was going down after the tractor was turned off( Rockshaft was very strong and was holding up good tools while engine was running). Now when rockshaft is on table i took arm with lever on when I push hard on back of the piston its wery tight, like it dont go down like it was on tractor what looks like everything is sealed well(piston and valves), and now I thing if the problem could be in setting the lever length, that lever was not set upright and the valve didn't close correctly? Or I am wrong. Can you help me?

If the valves are too tight they will leak down, you need that air gap. They can also leak from the cylinder relief valve, it might be worth a look.

@@BundyBearsShed I am not sure if I understand it correctly, how valves can be too tight, but anyway I should use repair set AL57974 and remake all valves? Big thanks for supper, from other side of the planet 🙂

There is a tapered screw that adjusts the valve to lever clearence.
