This series feels like the definition of "I let this character do what they want since they are the protag" the things that Marinette gets away just by the virtue of being liked by everyone is tremendous, the amount of stalking and manipulation she does is not far from Chloe and no character seems to care.
I honestly don't think the writers are ever in agreement on how to write her. Some episodes everyone hates her for no reason, some episodes she's doing things any other character would be villainized for and it's justified as "Well, it's Marinette"- it's frustrating, and I wish the writers actually worked together with a consistent vision in mind. Even a basic lore bible would fix this!!
UGHHHHH This makes me wanna get back into miraculous but this isn't the canon so why should i 😭 You're my favorite artist on youtube now so i really do hope that more people see these, bc they're fucking great- Also to the description- me, i love the show but god where did it go-? Like, it feels like a cashgrab now with the way its been dragged out- JUST LET THEM KNOW EACH OTHER PLEASE- Anyway, make sure not to overwork yourself, and good luck on midterms!!!
Thank youuuuu!! The show rlly does feel, just- so formulaic and hollow by this point, the stakes keep ratcheting up every season or special but the status quo rarely ever changes and it's so frustrating! AND TYSM!! I won't, no worries :3
*spoilers to those who haven’t watched the vid yet* Omg- the hawkmoth part feels like when they decide they don’t want to pass the burden of being a villain on to another kinda thing. Cause, yes it is stress-relieving, but I think it’s sorta like a negation cause of the stress of keeping the secret
