Yeah, Paul Walter Hauser killed it. He also played the title character in in Clint Eastwood's movie"Richard Jewell" -- the security guard accused of the '96 Atlanta Summer Olympics. I'm also always impressed by foreign-born actors who pull off American accents perfectly -- Egarton is Welsh, but I would have assumed he was American.

The FBI didn’t have enough to actually keep him in prison for some wired reason and he was going to probably get released on appeal. Yes he did not get the information where the bodies were, but he did get him to admit the murders and tell him details that no one would’ve known except the killer! That ended up making it where the serial killer would never get out of prison for the rest of his life and that’s why they ended up releasing him.
Sad ending but man Burr is an epic story teller. Still blows my mind that drug dealers get away with their crimes for so long. I mean they aren't exactly hidden like a serial killer can be. They need to interact with people all the time.
I would recommend watching the mini serie that tells this man's story. It is an Apple TV original called black bird. The acting is good, there is a total of 6 episodes. Watch that before arching bill burrs take on the serial killer.

The FBI didn’t have enough to actually keep him in prison for some wired reason and he was going to probably get released on appeal.
Yes he did not get the information where the bodies were, but he did get him to admit the murders and tell him details that no one would’ve known except the killer! That ended up making it where the serial killer would never get out of prison for the rest of his life and that’s why they ended up releasing him.

Sad ending but man Burr is an epic story teller. Still blows my mind that drug dealers get away with their crimes for so long. I mean they aren't exactly hidden like a serial killer can be. They need to interact with people all the time.

I would recommend watching the mini serie that tells this man's story. It is an Apple TV original called black bird. The acting is good, there is a total of 6 episodes. Watch that before arching bill burrs take on the serial killer.
