In most cases, it is the front that’s longer.
But in case, it is the back, use the back pattern as the reference and elongate the front to meet up the length of the back.

Darts are meant to be closed or sewn. Since there's a princess cut already on the bodice, it will look somehow to sew the bust dart ...
