Are you ready to feel the pain of being in an avalanche? Up in the alpine tundra sits a ride that climbs the tallest mountain in the area. Despite its quite beautiful location and atmosphere, the ride is said to be a trap. Charging a ridiculous $50 for a park admission ticket, only offering 3 food locations, 2 other rides, and no other coasters, the park is clearly bad. For those who are fooled by the star attraction's facade, the ride is actually designed to simulate the brutal pain and violence of an avalanche. The park management even had to remove the first and last rows of the ride as it was too intense for even experienced park-goers. Will anybody survive the Avalanche? (probably not)
It may be someone disappointing to see that my next coaster is one of the most despised coaster models of all time, but I wanted challenge myself with a few things. I wanted to see if I could make a ride that was horrendously bad, but without being unrealistic. So using the help of many POVs, some force vector, and a lot of trial and error, I think I did it. In addition to making a bad ride, I wanted to try putting some decent theming into an SLC since they typically don't have much theming, if any. Finally, I wanted to try my hand at recreating real life ride as closely as possible. I mainly based this off of Condor at Walibi Holland, but I threw in the rare bonus helix to make it feel more unique.
