Pro tip: straight track is easy, click twice on those blue orbs and select the strict option. Do that for the next blue orb as well and the track between those 2 orbs is perfectly straight. As mentioned earlier, select heartline on the trains tab in the coaster settings.
I hope you're going to make more yt content on nolimits2 since it's really fun to see you use it. Also, i recommend watching a few tutorials on more advanced parts of NL2 first so you really know what every different tool does. I also did the same thing and became pretty decent at building coasters
@@DigitalDan another thing which you should definitely learn is fvd++, real designers use it by controlling the track by adding the force you want, takes a few days to a week to get the hang of but its really useful
Damn,Dan is going to become the new designer for Cedar Point and will design a Coaster better than steel vengeance called called Octonauts Fish a combinement of octonauts and flying fish, perfect roller coaster
No limits is so hard at first but with practice you can make rides so much better than planet coaster if you do use it again I'd recommended using quad view when building
The fact that Wardley himself suggested Nolimits 2 is absolutely amazing. You should definitely learn how to use FVD++ to design even more realistic coasters in the simulation.
@DigitalDan It's bassicly a 3rd party software that calculates the way the track should he shaped tor you. However, it's absolutely not nessesary. I hand build and get the same results
@digitaldan you input the forces you want the ride to pull and then it designs the track around that, you can then export and import the track into nl2 and it’s almost perfect with very little smoothing/editing. It’s harder to learn than nl2 imo but im also smooth brain.
A good tip is to select a portion of the blue dots and go onto the elements tab and click ‘depump vertices’ as its the same as smoothing in planet coaster. Good luck!
Don't worry about the first 10, 20, 30 rides not being great, but keep doing it until you find your style and method and also, what really helped was posting in the NL community and ask for feedback and you'll improve each new ride!
Oh gosh i feel your pain. Nolimits2 is a cruel mistress. But you figure it out eventually (i will any time soon i hope). I can tell you are used to planco from how you make your coasters 😂😂. But yeah, just keep going and you'll be at least passable at making coasters after 50 hours 😬. Good luck 🤞.
Dan, I would recommend selecting a section of your tracks vertices then press the depump vertices button which will allow it to auto smooth the shaping for you 👍
hello dan this is great and thank you for doing this this gave me a lot of info because i want to be a rollercoaster engineer thanks again for a great vid ❤👍👍❤
I’ve had such a hard time today. I’m crying right now because one of my favourite TH-camrs (lift hills and thrills) hates me now. I’m very upset. But you always cheer me up. You’re the GOAT
Two tools you *really* need to use: "Strict" nodes: Double click a node, and set it to "strict". If two adjacent nodes are strict, then the gap between them is perfectly straight. "Depump Verticies": Highlight an area of track, and under the Element tab select Depump Verticies. This will modify the selected track to make it nice and smooth, removing the janky transitions in your current coaster.
Dan is a very intelligent and professional being and is going to design the coaster at Alton Towers, he shall not be judged
@AllGarageMusic Yes, or the UK’s First RMC
😭😂😂
A small scale launch raptor model sounds fun
Nah even the cat is having none of it

The urge to give you a whole explanation on how that game works is definitely here

NoLimits gets incredibly easier once you have a good grip of its controls.

@@lancehutch theoretically you could never get the same results handbuilding.
Dan, if you select all of the vertices (nodes) on the coaster, then go into "Element" and press Depump Vertices, you can smooth the track aha
Hey Dan. When making the ride use Heartline with the car height to make the turns more smoother/flow. Also learn to use FVD+
Customise roll points with No lat
And when using left views. Double click the vertex and then press the close button then it should stay straight
I will take these into consideration, thanks so much! 👍🏻
Yes love ur vids Dan. Ur humor and editing is the best!❤
Thanks so much!! 😊

Oh, and just sit and watch tutorials, it makes it so much easier
Thank you for the help!!
I Was Hoping You'd Get In Touch With Nolimits 2! 😊
Hope You'll Do More Nolimits 2 Content In The Future :)
You Defenitly Need More Practise Tho.... 😅🙃
Definitely want to do more, I’ll do better next time 😂🙏🏻

Also depump spam lol
Would love to see more nl2 content
I need part 2! 😔
the most useful button I can see for this situation would be depump verticies lmao. would smooth it at least a bit
Perfect ride much better than ride to happiness just a little to intense and rough in places but its a great ride

The 0 G roll with a consistent .5-1.5 G throughout the element
Yoooo! Glad you actually going into NL2! If ya ever need advice, lmk: I think I got pretty good at it
Thanks so much! 🙏🏻

Thanks so much! Definitely the place to start when going into that field! 🔥
@@DigitalDan yes dan thanks 😀😀👍👍
Try activating Heartlining in your coaster properties. This would make your Coaster much better
I’ve had such a hard time today. I’m crying right now because one of my favourite TH-camrs (lift hills and thrills) hates me now. I’m very upset. But you always cheer me up. You’re the GOAT
Why do you say they hate you now what happened?😟
I think you should recreate this rollercoaster in planet coaster
Welcome to the No Limits gang :)
when your track banks on launches, brakes, etc, use the roll feature and just leave it on 0. it keeps it strict, or just make it strict.
Keep up the great work ur my fav yt
Thanks so much! 😊
The coaster looks sick 😎
😂
Dan you good at making coasters! I hope you make a successful coaster at alton towers 😸😸😸❤️
another amazing video as always!! x
Thank you!! 💞
Dan carries rollercoaster TH-cam
🙏🏻🙏🏻
I see that the Project Horizon designer has been found!
😂😂
this partially hurts to watch yet is so funny
more of this !!!
Dan can you plz go to cedar point and go on all the rides and do a vlog about it and split it up into parts

wow that is really cool
This was actually hilarious 😂
Glad you enjoyed!! 😂
You've got no limits nailed now onto FVD++ 😂
I have no clue what that is but I will try it out some day! 😂
@@DigitalDan Basically a more complex version of no limits. You use the forces applied to riders to design the track
Imagine Dan opening a theme park and using this

It’s crazy!! Am so grateful 🙏🏻
YESSSSS WOOOHOo WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW
I tried nolimits 2 today and i think it’s very simple to make smooth coasters
I suggest you use the program FVD. I find it much easier to make coasters in it and there is a really good tutorial by EliteCoasters.
We should just call you mr John Wardley 😂😂
Wardley was always my surname 👀😂😂
this vid looks epic
Thank you!!
i don't see FVD++™ anywhere
you had me at ‘game’😭😭
WHY IS THERE JUST POKEMON BATTLE MUSIC PLAYING IN THE BACK ROUND😂😂😂😂
When will you build project horizon?

@@DigitalDan OMG
Hi Dan
Build it irl now
smoothest pov in planet coaster be like:
More you do the more you learn
Lol I tried NL2 and came to the same conclusion at the end.
how many times can dan say rollercoaster challenge
Basically made a 2022 arrow coaster with the zero heart lining 😅
How long did it take you to build this? I’m thinking of getting it but if it’s impossible, I’m not so sure…
No limits2 is like old school/college. Sadly i only have demo
Oh
Lord
First, I am brilliant at design, u should involve me in a video
No
👏👏👏
Next level is fvd ++
I love smiler
good vid
Thank you!!
I was wondering why dan was playing no limits all of a sudden. This is insane not gonna lie
😂
I got a merlin gold pass
oooh my inversion always go wrong
you forgot to turn the heartlining on
If you want to use the most realistic way to make a coaster, use FVD++. It is pure pain I. The beginning but once you get it, it is awesome
NL2 is really hard😢
Idk if I'm early or not
Funny 😄 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hello
John wardley 2.0
Step one: put hearthline on!
I saw his cat
hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
If they had a nemes25 event, why was there nothing for oblivion 🤨🧐
If rcca built a steel coaster
Failing is part of the process of learning, you should definitely go back and try to make a better roller coaster on no limits 2
Let me suggest a name. HELL
Please depump your vertices, make it heartline of track, please!
Hi

Now try force vector design
Just wait until he plays Theme Park Tycoon 2

Maybe if you stand up it might make it better lol 😆
If you bought the professional one, his bank account is screwed.
I've just been watching your cat do cat stuff and not actually focusing on what you were saying
