I love my patterdale. I was in bulldogs for 15 years first, then I got out of the dogs. Then a friend of mine that I had given a pup years ago said I got a pup for ya ,I said man I can't afford it, he said do you remember giving me a pup years ago? I said yes, he said Im paying you back! So now I've got Bullet, the smartest dog Ive ever had...or seen! No quit in him at all!!
My patterdale is exactly the same brilliant with kids and family but he is also an absolute machine. The perfect all rounder!mine comes from the original bloodline I'm from England.
Cool hearing the testimony here about Todd's dogs was perfect I am in exact same situation being i bred game pit bulls for many years an life changes I'm looking into patterdales an just contacted deadgame kennels thru facebook today
Great podcast, notice many of your dogs , have pricked ears ? Not a common sight , here in the uk , But have to say great looking dogs all the same , an obviously working well on Quarry an for you , Love your idea , of outcrossing to something larger , to create a hogdog par excellence, But a Rottweiler? Im here in the uk , as you know , hunting is finished here , but i still admire Hogdogs , in the States, Australia etc , The Pitbull, Game Bred American Bulldogs, seem to be popular, Here in the Uk , The Rottweiler suffers from Hip displaysia etc , Perhaps youve sourced a good working line in Europe?
All Nuttall type has pit blood in them thats why they look different then any other esrth terrier of fell type and ears up comes from fox terrier type.
