Great video, but 480p??? It might have been better to buy a oneplus 5 and use that to film. I think the 1080P on that phone should be quite decent. Mine should arrive in a few more days, I'm looking forward to test it out. :D

This is just one line of production in the vast universe of shenzhen. Other country can not have this critical mass factor of electronic ecosystem (economy, foreign reserve and dictatorship stability) to be competitive. It is cheaper to import from China than try to assemble it themselves. Crazy. China will dominate for another decade at least.

Any Oneplus phone battery life is only up to 3 years and then you are forced to buy new phone because Oneplus does not produce batteries for their old phones.

It's sad to see so much manual labor going inside such a popular phone. It's one thing to call this employment but to make a person repeat such intricate assembly processes over and over again all day isn't fair.
What is more important is that they got paid. Pays in Manufacturing job is higher than low end services job, and this employ people the most compare to high end services and manufacturing. I have worked in both sector and I feels my pays in service job is not matching the work load I've performed. Sometimes its more tiring than working in assembly line. And I'm now working at Panasonic, first being a production operator and now up graded to be inventory supervisor. But in manufacturing factory the most important thing is environment and state of equipment. The environment need to be in orderly manner and the equipment need to be in the best condition and functioning. Bcus broken equipment not just dangerous to your safety but also can effect your work efficiency.

Indeed, working in a factory isn't an easy task. They get paid and I bet 2 out of 10 people actually like doing that kind of work. At least it's better than construction work I would say
