@@GMEsp Hell yeah! And thank you for playing it! I was hoping the players would like my wrestling moves and it looks like they were received very well.
Things is : all those moves don't add anything to the gameplay. It's a waste. I got this game in Amazon prime gift but I hesitated to redeem it. I've just watched a few videos and I frankly doubt that it will entertain me. Because all what we do is fighting one guy after the other, by smashing one or two buttons. If only you had made ennemis to attack you all at the same time with different speed, and combos that for instance project an ennemy onto others, or way to block a hit and use the body to use it as an obstacle, we could have 2 inovative mechanics. But I don't see anything new except the "kung fu" impressive number of hits. But Street Of Rage II was better at using the different blows to respond to different types of attacks : - Jumping on place + kick to hit a flying annemy or motorcycles. - Jumping forward + kick for motorcycles or ennemyes running. - Grabbing and throwing ennemies in two directions. - Backpunch if any ennemi comes by your back. etc.... A real innovative Beat'em'all would have at least a basic set of "state of the art" blows, and would have multiplied them by 2 or 3 to obtain a real new type of mechanic. The amazing thing is that you multiplied the blows by a hundred with... no improvement in the mechanic. That's really impressive. 🙄

In the words of the creator, he said that he removed them from the final version because they didn't look good, but we can expect more animations in a future DLC
@@GMEsp Really hope for new animations. This game can be perfect even without levels and story. Just arena and updates or dlc with fighting styles and animations. What a dream...
@@aviaretubbs2340 Not at the moment, the last thing I heard was that the arena mode was taking much time than expected since it would be a big expansion in the words of the creator and that he would let us know when its launch is closer. I hope I have explained myself well.
Yo bro, i know its been a while since you did anything with midnight fight express, but are you going to showcase the different attack combos the player can do? Example, the basic attack animations with and without rage mode.
Actually, yeah, I also recently discovered an animation that only applies with rage mode on and I'd like to add it in the new intro combo video. It is much shorter than the previous one but it works. So yes, you can expect a new video these days!!
I don't know if you can recommend other games with countermeasures like this. i played the series:Assassin,Mad Max,Sleepping Dog,Batman Arkham,it's very good. But I want to play more about games with similar mechanics. Can you help me
Shadow Of War. It has almost the same mechanics for both counterattacks and executions, the combat is epic and satisfying. Before Midnight Fight Express came along, I was totally into this game. I highly recommend it.
@@GMEsp Thanks a lot, hope you will make more videos about games with mechanics like this. It's really captivating I don't know what the fighting and counter attacks in those games are called. Maybe I can earn some through those mechanics But I don't know their names
@@EnemiesKimChonCeNa you are welcome. And of course, I always try to find a new games with these mechanics. I think they call it: "Freeflow Combat" for the same reason that you constantly flow from one side to another in the fight.
Thank you for capturing and categorizing all of our moves!
¡The legend himself! Thank you for creating these moves for the game. I really appreciate the hard work you guys did ❤

Remember guys, Eric Jacobus was involved in the making of this game. Why do you think the attacks look so fluid and powerful?
¡Exactly! The great Eric Jacobus and his friend Jay.
That explains the kicks. Damn.
Quite literally the flashiest and best beat em up I've ever played in my life.
Damn, I appreciate the dedication to finding all of these. As a Sleeping Dogs fan, the counters in this game make me happy.
¡Thanks Man! It was kinda tricky.
They motion captured most of this too! Props to the team 👍
Without them the game could be very different.
Thank you!

Why d they removed so much smooth finishers from the early gameplay trailers?

Yeah, with the dodges sometimes you can make the enemies hit each other.

how did you make this dropkick? 10:25
Its very rare to trigger, sometimes using "Chain Finisher" and other times when the enemy get stunned to make the "Unarmed Finisher"
